A few days ago as I was climbing Wild ladder on iOS mobile iPhone, while queuing for the next game, I was suddenly disconnected with a message that said ‘your connection timed out while requesting data from the hearthstone servers.’
Since then, I’ve been unable to play any ranked game for more than a turn before I am disconnected with the same message.
Trying to play arena, in the arena menu screen when I go to buy tickets, the overhead gold counter shows up but not the ticket-buying menu apparatus. When I check the shop tab, there’s only an empty turnstones tab, with nothing to purchase. No cards, packs, cosmetics.
I put in a ticket and the response I got was ‘check your connection’ and ‘refer to the forums’
I responded that’s not helpful, I have tried every method to fix this, I have reinstalled three times, freed up memory, reset my router, restarted my phone. I mentioned this is most likely a patch rollout thing affecting mobile users, because the forums and the Reddit are full of little posts with the same exact problems.
They said although they’ve seen the reports they are ‘unable to influence these in-game mechanics.’So just, F you, it’s not important and there’s no solution.
It is weird they won’t acknowledge there’s anything to fix. I’ve been playing on the same mobile for 10 years, yes it’s an old phone but nothing has stopped my playing progress when it comes to the garbage client, until now. Nothing different on my end.
PC still works but I’ve played mobile for over 10 years as I said, and for no reason it doesn’t work anymore, I have just stopped playing.
