I have had two occasions today out of two attempts where Faithful Companion is not working properly. I have never had a problem with it before this week’s patch.
Both times when I played it today with the manathirst requirement met, the second minion summoned was a copy of the first beast summoned from the deck, not one of the beasts in my hand.
Both times this bug manifested were on iPad.
(Both times the bug cost me a win, of course. Had to work that vent in there.)

The effect you got is not a bug. What you’re describing is the original effect on the card.
If they forgot to change the text to reflect that, that is a bug.
Ah, thank you! I read the patch notes but somehow missed this. The text has been updated.
They omitted some nerfs reverts the first day of the patch. Maybe it was one of them.
