Reno Shadow Priest is Terrorizing Wild

I don’t even want to go into detail about why this is the case but for literally like 4 years straight Reno Shadow Priest has been 50% of the opponents in legend. The main problem with it is that it has a lot of matchups that are impossible for it to lose, like seriously no exaggeration it has close to 100% win rate in certain matchups against other popular decks.

It just creates a play experience that is so infuriating because you can queue into 5 of them in a row while you are playing a deck that has a guaranteed loss against them, but as soon as you switch to a deck that can beat them you are up against an ultra aggressive deck and lose to that.

Priest and Rogues are Faceless class anyway, better delete them, all they do is steal cards and play with his free card decks that NOW HAVE FREE LEGENDARIES !!.

You just rank 50 player, that’s all. Wild infested with pirate/kingsbane rogues, totem/shuderwok shamans, mill/jailer/ other crap druids, secret/time warp mages, face hunters, big priests and then some shadow priests.

that’s how blizzards algorithm works.

death rattle is used a lot on wild and my druid deck has darnassus aspirant

so i added deathwarden

it lets my viper kill their kingsbane for good and it exploits a weakness many card game players have

not reading the card texts!
i get agood laugh when they use kingbane last durability while deathwarden is on the board to remove a taunt

in one of my games i emoted"oops" after seeing that play he played instrument tech thinking hell get it back

i noticed he didnt know what happened after more than 10 seconds so i emoted “oops” again and highlighted my deathwarden
thats when i see it glow red and concede right after

its useful vs shadow priest too because it prevents their DR from triggering

Don’t play Wild because at least one super IMBA deck is designed to happen, for one class or another.

They can only kill decks that win before Turn 2.
Anything beyond that is really, fair game.

Actually the only counter to beat Reno Shadow Priests is to play a deck that wins super early, anything that gets past turn 6 will be guaranteed loss except for maybe Shudderwok Shaman or some OTK combos

I mean, if you play wild for rank, then you just have to deal with the problems inherent to the format. And the main problem inherent to the format is super broken powerful gimmicks and synergies. Complaining about the features of the format is pretty pointless.

Outside of really, really broken I don’t see any reason to intercede because pretty much everything sucks in wild.

If you are playing for your own enjoyment, then it doesn’t matter because you just concede when you see things you don’t want to deal with.

I routinely concede as soon as I know it’s a shudderwok deck, quest priest, jade quest druid, and a couple others that I know are not worth the time to play.

I concede when I don’t like my mulligan in a match up even… and I have like a 40% win rate with the janky decks I like to play in wild and I don’t even care.
