Reno is not a problem at all,
Allows a back and forth in games that I like,
at least in the ones that are not a cheese or rush to win,
i hope all the complaints fall on deaf ears and on the contrary they end the year releasing another brand new highlander set.
Reno should be 12 mana and banned from druid.

That was my original nerf for him to 10 mana, idk why they thought 9 was the right number. Anything that says “basically win the game on the spot” should be 10 mana…otherwise what are we even doing?
I have no idea why HL decks were brought back, and especially not with this card.
First of all, these days there is little to no drawbacks in using a HL deck. Today’s draw is just too good for HL format to be a real handicap.
It’s one think for there to be ONE top tier Highlander, but the amount of them around…do we not think this is a clear sign that the mechanic means pretty much nothing in 2024? But I think we’re all just going in circles at this point. Card is lame. May as well just say, “Win if your opponent doesn’t have this card in their hard.”
Practically every deck in Diamond Wild is a 40 card Reno deck that can do everything.
Team 5 should be embarrassed, if not ashamed, imo.
Sounds miserable. I don’t mind the 40 card part, but having every deck be that HL deck… and geesh, the fact that it operates that well at 40 cards… it literally means nothing in Wild to be HL, and I do think that just adds to how poorly designed new HL is. Really shouldn’t be making more Standard HL cards. Well, I’d like them to just balance it better. I can’t believe they made it uncounterable. I get that it ruins their deck, but they can run Steamcleaner. Bring it back. Or better yet, make a more expensive tradeable version.
Reno is just NO FUN to lose against; you can be doing great the whole game and playing perfectly then in one turn the entire game changes, with no chance to recover.
Reno should clear all but one creature for each player (randomly chosen) leaving one space for 1 turn each, then they attack each other, ala a “wild west showdown”.
Reno should cost 20 mana and reduce by (1) every time you play a card that costs 8 and more.
Reno should be flushed away.
So we are clear on this nerf suggestion. This is a sentimental nerf we are asking for? The best Reno deck is a tier 2 deck and it’s a hunter deck according to the stats.
Call it whatever you want.
Taking the other player’s agency over their own board is straight ridiculous and should not be in the game… especially on a neutral… obviously!
Forget about Tier stuff… those are just numbers which are effected by other decks’s numbers… Reno is making fail every other slower strategy… and this is the problem… thats why there are so many agressive decks… Reno need to be killed finally… THEN the agressive meta will change too.
That’s what they called Nature shaman nerf, as well, and after 3 rounds of nerfs, Norwis is still destroying in top 10 on EU with it
Sometimes, a card or a deck can be broken even when the stats don’t show it, because majority of players are so bad it should be illegal
