Druid is far from defenseless before round 6. 1 mana 3/2 dragon, armor/draw cards, and Nestmatron ensure that they have some ways to defend themselves and Nestmatron can easily allow them to catch up or gain board advantage. And by the opponent’s round 6, the druid is usually at 10+ mana…so if they had managed to survive that long, chances are they’ve stabilized and are dictating the flow of the game.

But Reno doesn’t win games without some other coherent strategy. That’s why most Reno decks are bad, because other strategies suffer in consistency.

Because you said “you can put anything in the deck”. If those decks didn’t have mana ramp, Reno would be bad in them.

Your premise is flawed because there is no strategic depth in this game anymore. Its turned into a casino rng clownfiesta. The strategic challenge of trying to play your opponents deck has been destroyed by the fact that your opponents deck is now any card at any mana cost or your opponents entire deck is 0 mana cost.

They literally had to change the definition of how the card worked to make it relevant. Now it’s just a big PITA. You clear your board but not mine? Now you get an OP hero power too? Cool

The fact plague DK even existed meant you hardly ever saw Reno decks. I’ve seen Reno warrior three times this morning already
