There needs to be more downside to this card. changing the mana is a start, but it needs more. over and over and over. im in a match where i am dominating and they make mistakes which allows me to build a solid board. allowing them to remove it all, no deathrattle triggers…etc. and keep their board, and prevent me from adding more than 1 card is a joke. it rewards players who arent playing well the majority of the game and allows them to come back into a game which they didnt plan, play well. this is un earned.
Change this card.
If nothing happens in the future with this, thats the end of my pre orders and future purchases on this game, as it isnt fun to beat my head against the wall and plan to try and win a game that has no reward for those who strategize.
Please “devs”. Put down the gluten free protein bar, slide the double venti latte’ magnifico over to the side and get into learning about the cards you make and how they change the game for those who pay to play a once amazing a game.
Kisses in advance. Hoping for the best. Expecting nothing to happen.
All I’m going to say is: there’s a reason other games tend to avoid printing neutral board clears. Let alone completely removing everything from existence rather than just clearing the minions.
other games like the most popular ones
Yu-gi-oh… Dark hole and Raigeki can be played in any deck while macro cosmos and dimensional fissure(only minions) prevent cards from going to graveyards(completely removing from game) all of these cards are legal in specific formats.
MTG… ALL is dust is colorless board wipe and if you want to see crazier effects Karn-plainswalker- can restart a game and any non-aura permanents he exiles he can put onto your field(so you can restart a game with a 10/10 and kill the opponent on turn 2 while they had time to play 1 land)
Still, focus on avoid on my first statement. All good Neutral board clears do is destroy deck diversity by forcing their position in decks by being simply, too good.
You said nothing about comparing the effects or costs if you want to be picky Reno( can only run 1) is now 10 mana and often doesn’t occur before turn 9 or 10, where as a MTG deck designed with this card would actually be able to play it turn 4 or 5 frequently and run 2 to 4 copies.
so they still do it and now hearthstone did, it took ten years, with nevinyrral’s Disk and Oblivion stone MTG has at least 1 every ten years so we can expect at least 1 more if hearthstone lasts another 10 years
I couldn’t agree more. The last 5 games I just played were all against Reno decks. It’s ubiquitous in wild and heavily played in standard. Not only is the board wipe OP, but even his hero power is insanely OP. Just nerfing his hero power to only do 2 damage would be fine. I’m not saying I’m quitting the game, but it sure isn’t fun anymore especially because I prefer wild (which is 75% Reno)
I want to be clear. Board clear is needed due to the ways people can flood boards and hearthstone horsey can pull in big boys from the deck. But, reno needs to have more work done. The hero power needs to be dialed down, and clearing both boards, or maybe certain cards on the user (like even cards, or other stat dependent items) There is too much upside to reno at the moment. I am quitting for now and halting buying new expansions until the game has more intrigue for me to keep playing. Right now, when I log in, I only expect a random outcome which I usually cannot control in any way, and a not fun time. When this happens, its time to call it for a while until the devs get the message.
