It dilutes the minion pool so severely that it becomes the ultimate high-roll or die lobby.

Tell me you dont understand how valuable auto rerolls are without saying it…oh, you just did.
Just play tavern spell strats until you find felbat.
Or play tavern spell strats with mechs.
Or play tavern spell strats with the stuff that buffs when you add stuff to hand
Have you even tried playing tavern spell strats?
They automatically get replaced with a new one when you buy.
i never have to even hit the reroll button until wayyyy late in the game when looking for famished felbat or big brother or salty hog or arcane archonotron.
If you were trapped in a box irl would you complain your way out of it?
I doubt it.
Tell me you don’t understand diluted minion pools without telling me you don’t understand diluted minion pools. Having every tribe in one lobby makes it extremely luck-dependent to get traction in the early game.
You can get nothing but tier 1 and 2 minions available. You cannot subsist on spells alone. While you’re trying to get even a single core build minion, there are people who are getting triples of core build minions, as well as supplementary minions.
The last couple times, I’ve just had to limp myself to 4th or 3rd at best using a scuffed menagerie build. Leave the condescension at the door, dude.
All this happens in normal plain jane lobbies too.
Could it be more so a problem of overwhelmed with options?
The bigger issue this season is that the minion pools is probably the worst we have ever seen. It’s just bad but thankfully we only have 3 weeks till the new season.
