I was just playing a regular game of HS BG (which I think should be moved to another client anyways, as it’s pretty much it’s own thing) and I was unable to connect to a game I was just ejected from. Ejected at 21:00 and it’s still “trying to reconnect” now. Only thing I can do is “Exit Game” which will of course make me forfeit the game, which I don’t want to do. Great bug. Really interactive. So much fun.

Commenting here to bring more attention to this problem. I just had it occur to me as well. Every time I exit out and log back in, the client keeps saying it is trying to reconnect, but it never does and I can’t take any actions other than click “Exit game”.

same, and i can’t even exit the game to go and start another match, been at least 20 mins. the game i was playing would definitively have been finished by now.
30 seconds after i hit enter on this the it said “unable to reconnect to game.”

this is like the 3rd time today i lost connection to the hstone server in bg making me loose winnable games

Just encountered this in BGs, was suddenly disconnected (note: I am not using any of those tools or anything that force disconnects) and now I’m stuck on “you were disconnected” and can’t even clear it to play another game. The game is OVER.

Same issue. Froze on reconnecting even after multiple restarts. Eventually exited bg game on its own. And I was winning too…

Just commenting to say I am also stuck on a permanent reconnecting bug. Exiting game does nothing. Been waiting for a while. I can’t imagine the BG is still ongoing at this point.

i made another post. in my opinion theres a server side bug causing the games to crash. if you look at the stats after the game clears its not recorded. but ya don’t get refresh tokens back! its wild this is going on over a day now!

Same issue. Playing on the mobile client. Started happening after the patch hit yesterday. Curiously enough, I was booted mid match and forced to update which has never happened to me before. No idea if it’s related, just seemed odd.

I got the same issue: my Hearthstone game crashed during a duo battlegrounds game. it tried to reconnect, but failed and it is freezed on the “reconnecting game” screen. I cannot do anything to cancel it just to exit the game. I tried every avaible troubleshooting, reinstalled the game included but nothing helps. it’s frozen on the sema screen in mobile too. please help on this issue to be able to log in and play again.

Got disconnected in BG… again. Stuck on the “reconnecting” message.
Only option is to shut it down completely and then get back in.
Blizzard wants money for this new expansion? HA! I refuse to spend any more money until they fix their issues.
