Reckoning doesn't trigger on 8/8 minion (Naga Giant)

Hello Blizzard and readers, I want to contact you about a bug in the game. My opponent had a Paladin secret “Reckoning” (which is supposed to destroy an enemy minion who attacks and deals 3 or more damage). I attacked with my 8/8 Naga Giant, but the secret didn’t trigger. Right after that I attacked with my Insatiable Devourer, who had stats 18/16 and he got destroyed (the question is, why didn’t the secret trigger on the Naga Giant, but it triggered on the Insatiable Devourer?).
(I want to share a replay link from HS Replay, but it is not allowed here it seems like…)

maybe Naga Giant attacked a minion that had Divine Shield?

No, someone actually told me on Reddit, it’s because the Naga Giant hit a 10 attack minion and died, so Reckoning obviously can’t trigger on a dead minion :D. I don’t know how I didn’t think of that.
