Reckless Cliffdiver Scaling

Used a tavern spell on Reckless Cliffdiver to set its stats to 20/20. The wording of the card implies that it would get +2 attack per battlecry added onto its base stats, which is now 20/20. However it stayed at 20/20 and did not scale

Undead with similar wording behave as expected but this card does not

That does seem like a bug.

You’re sure you triggered some battlecries earlier in the game?

Oh for sure, it had 70 attack before I played the tavern spell. And it actually wouldn’t gain the +2 attack after playing it, even as I played more battlecries
