Reckful last GoodBye

Hey guys,
Today i woke up and found out that one of the best people on earth, my friend , HS streamer and The best WoW player has passed away.
We all know his “best” HS play in which he missed lethal at blizzcon and a lot of people memed about it.
So sad that after so many wins he got defeated by depression.
He was an inspiration for many people.
When i was about to give up on WoW and posted that in a group chat he gave me so many words of encouragement from which i got motivated to keep going and even i got my life on track once again , because back then i was dealing with depression too. So sad i couldnt do anything to help the person that helped me.
Rest in Peace brother!

What the…

This is very sad and shocking. I was wondering why he disappeared from the scene, now I see why. While I wasn’t a big fan of him, it pains me greatly to see a young person go like this.

Unfortunately, depression is one of the most underestimated and devious afflictions of our times. Most oftenly, it won’t get spotted, and it will get treated like it’s laziness/weakness/choice. Few people will recognise it and treat it for what it is, an illness (which is curable).

If you have a person with depression in your near family/friend circle, be understanding and try to help this person understand that he has support around him/her, and if the case is severe, it’s perfectly fine to seek help from a professional. I had a person in my family defeated from depression when he was 25 yrs old and I also gave my own battles in the past, so I know how a person struggles with it first hand.

Farewell Reckful, my condolences to his family and loved ones. To any people fighting with depression, stay strong and you will emerge victorious out of this!

It is sad. R.I.P.

Aside, Important to know that we should hold some responsibilities for our own words/actions.

Godspeed for a gamer.

Unfortunately, this is a big reality due to the lockdown. People are not able to afford medications and suicides hotlines have recieved 800 percent increases since the lockdown began. If only our country was more involved, and invested funding into prevenatitve and proactive care.

Been there. I lost nearly 15kg in weight.

Yeah this is terrible news. Brain is such a complex machine, when it is uncomfortable, deadliest things can happen.

When I first heard this yesterday, my first thought was “I’m not really surprised”. I know that sounds cold, but it isnt intended that way. It was no secret that he was fighting with depression for a long time, and as those above have stated, thats a ticking time bomb without the right treatment etc.

RIP reckful. In loving memory (memery) of your gaming achievements:

Never heard of the guy before, somehow, but his departure has clearly affected many, especially WoW and Hearthstone players. I learned a lot about him lately from various people online. Regardless of who he was, it really sucks when something like this happens. All I can do is hope that he is in a better place now, wherever that might be.

R.I.P., Reckful.

Rest in peace, our J prince :candle:.
He was occasionally a jerk but nobody could hate him and everyone loved him for what he was.

First his brother, now Reckful. I cannot imagine what his parent’ been through.

Pretty much. Worried for their parents’ well-being.

As this topic is very sensitive, I hope we can be more careful with our words.

This is emtional for sure. I can see some people may cry reading this thread. Brain is a complex chemical system, if it really gets out of control, it is the cells and chemical to blame, NOT the person’s conciousness.

Assumption of psychology and emtions is indeed not the right words. You have no evidence what is going on with his brain, care about yours and say proper things. He has the right not to delete it.
