Just went 5-1 started at 585 and ended at 587 in legend, playing against all ppl in the 500 and one in 400’s. Just an example of if ya do intend to climb, tanking and playing meme’s does have a cost

Explain further? I feel like this happens to me a bunch.
well when ya play meme’s and fun decks, ya often lose a lot and it tanks your mmr. so if you have any ambition to climb like make top 1000 and stay there, it takes a while to build that mmr back up as was illustrated by my 5-1 record and i still lost 2 ranks.
it’s cause while I am playing, other people are winning and hitting legend also who have better mmr than me.

Doesnt this show the brackets the algo places you in?
Surely it didnt take 100-10 to go from say 700 to 585. Yet here you suddenly hit the wall.
The internal mmr difference between 700 and 500 cant be that big.
Or did you drop from top <100 to top ~600. And then going 5-1 with this as a result?
Difficult to make sense of this without knowing what did happen in the 20 games before.
Went 4-3 at work on phone before i got home and went 5-1, so i am 9-4 in legend so far, entered at 543, i am sure i am 600 something now, would have to log in to find out if that helps any. Had a good winrate on way to legend though i did meme it up a little at d5
I feel my mmr is so bad i need to start fresh and get 11 star bonus of new account it kinda is bad atm.
I wonder how long it takes to fix truelly bad mmr my winrate used to be amazing over 50 but i gues the last few metas r not for me.

I played against you today, you were playing deathrattle rogue, I was playing a garbage homebrew arcane hunter deck. I’m not sure if deathrattle rogue is entirely a meme deck, it’s basically the same thing as thad warlock but slightly different. Definitely not a deck to climb with but you can get free wins with good rng.
I was wondering if that was you, qwark is not a common name, i remember playing ya and your hunter deck, i cant remember though if we played twice or just once
There are currently less than 1000 players in legend (NA). Last season finished with 15K. Yes, people are still entering with a higher MMR than you. Unless you had a high rank finish its normal to have a good win rate and not gain (or even lose) ranks early in the season.

Dude talk about a bummer for me u went 4-1 this moning and went frim 772 to 769, my last game ibwas 764 and wn and went back 5 ranks
Everyone should always meme, back in the day, the most fun games were mad bomber your own face for all shots. miss those times.
