Ranking Battleground Minion Types

  1. Murloc (the best)
  2. Mech (Getting six boss with double deathrattle)
  3. Dragon (divine shield etc)
  4. Beasts
  5. Quilbear
  6. Demon
  7. Elemental (Slow progression but could snowball)
  8. Pirate (the worst weak minions)
  9. Mix (even worse)

This is assuming the random gods shine in you favour

It’s hard to say because of the different Heroes and their power. For example, Togwaggle is the strongest Hero right now and she uses Menagerie, but she’s only one of a very few Heroes that use Menagerie.

If we just look at Tier 1 and Tier 2 Heroes and see which minion type they are best with, according to HSReplay, the number of times the minion type is “the best minion type to go for with the best winning rate” for a hero is:

menagerie 2
demons 2
mechs 7
dragons 6
quilboar 1
murlocs 4
elementals 3
beasts 1
pirates 1

That means power-wise for Tier 1 and 2 Heroes it goes
Mechs
Dragons
Murlocs
Elementals
Demons and Menagerie
Beasts and Pirates and Quilboar

As the power ranking.

That seems like a pretty accurate dedication.

I think the tribes are well balanced overall

Murlocs are a bit overtuned, pirates and quillboars are a bit weak, menagerie is decent

Beasts have multiple ways to build, demons too, with the exception of buddies I like the game state overall
