Rank the Whizbang Classes

Now that we have every, single, card reveled to us. How would you all rank the classes for the cards they got? Who in your opinion got the BEST cards, to the WORST cards? :eyes:.

A simple listing of
1.)
2.)
3.)
ETC works fine, of course details on why for your listings also helps ^^.

  4. Hunter
  5. Warrior
  6. Druid

Wow… You think Priest made it out the best for card quality, an Paladin recieved better cards than some of those other classes ehh :eyes:… Gimmie some more information as to why that is lol.

Yeah, Priest Time Warp is just so insanely strong of an effect and so easy to activate. It’s hard not seeing that going into a lot of decks. You basically just need 3 cards for the effect.

Paladin got some decent stuff, nothing too broken nothing too weak. Trinket Artist in Paladin is extremely good and will see play. The ability to keep pushing auras to extending seems like it could be really strong, especially if you can get the 7 mana spell off…but just the smaller auras extending is trouble. Tarim is a lot better than people are stating because the mini is great as well. It’s a fantastic control card just like Tarim in the past was. They overall look fairly decent, nothing that really looks like trash like some of the other classes got.

I am gonna rank them on creativity and fun if you don’t mind sir.

  1. Mage because it seems the most outlandish. :hushed:
  2. Druid because it strays a lot from regular Druid and seems fun. :+1:
  3. Shaman because ‘3 Battlecry’s’ speaks for itself.
  4. Paladin because I like Paladin
  5. Hunter because the art looks very good with the green border. :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
  6. Priest bec  Priest
  7. Warrior bec Warrior :sleepy:
  8. DK bec Hero card
  9. Warlock because it doesn’t seem strong :dotted_line_face:
  10. Rogue bec Rogue shenanigans :face_exhaling:
  11. DH dead set :disappointed_relieved:

Oof, my trip between the Library and here was tiring but made it.

  5. Hunter
    .
    .
    .
    Warlock.

The cards for warlock require urgent buffing.

  1. Priest- Made out like a bandit. The time warp dragon is an extremely powerful effect and I think it’s the best card in the set. Raza is also extremely powerful.

  2. DK- all of the cards have low rune requirements and high utility. The hero card and death rattle legendary are both very powerful. Regardless of fitting in any current decks, almost all of the cards are playable.

  3. Paladin- With an already aggressive tendency to close games out early, I think the aura buffs will make this class even stronger.

  4. Mage- Khadgar is insane. If there were one or two more really strong cards, I’d say this would be the best in show. Otherwise the rng casino style of some cards seems iffy to me.

  5. Hunter- reducing the costs of beasts and buffing them to do massive face damage seems to be the class identity now. Despite the fact that it is boring and redundant, I think it is still effective and king plush looks to be a strong closer.

  6. Shaman- tripling battlecries seems bonkers to me and something sure to appeal to degenerates and scumbags alike. Seems really good in the right situations.

Honestly the rest I am sorta of ho hum about so I’m not going to rank those other than to say I think Warlock and Demon Hunter would be at the very bottom.

This is the first time ever in the history of me playing HS, that I have looked at the cards before the day they are released.

I am bored so I’ll give my super rigorous and objective Set power ranking. Basically I rated every card on a 4-star rank basis and then summed them up to come up with a score. In case of a tie (Got a triple tie with DK, Mage and Druid i.e), I just ranked by what I feel will work better together.

Whizbang Set Ranking

  • Rogue (30)
  • Priest (28)
  • Shaman (26)
  • DK (25)
  • Druid (25)
  • Mage (25)
  • Warrior (24)
  • Paladin (24)
  • Hunter (22)
  • DH (20)
  • Warlock (17 lul)

So yeah there’s the ultimate power ranking folks

I admit as a rogue enjoyer I might be biased. But genuinely, I look at every card and most of them are 3s I think people are sleeping hard on those cards.

Leo actually :lion:

I would rank them all about mid cards and equal too each other. Easily the most balanced set we have seen since the Rumble. This whole set is how expansion should be made from now on. No parasitic packages or one off bonkers powerful cards.

I gave it a 3 just because of the synergy. As a standalone and not knowing Sandbox Scoundrel exists I would have given it a fat 1
