If Radiant Elemental is on the battlefield and Celestial Alignment is played Radiant Elemental’s ability will not work on the card in your hand that had their mana cost changed. Please help. I have lost because of this multiple times now.
Celestial Alignment does exactly as advertised, it changes the cost to 1, despite any effects that already alter the cost. Anything that’s played later to alter the cost (or is drawn later), will do so, but anything played before will not.
Lets say you play Celestial Alignment while you have Nerub’ar Weblord in play (Minions with Battlecry cost 2 more). All Battlecry minions in your and your opponent’s hand will cost 1, despite of Weblord, while all Battlcry minions the both of you draw afterwards will cost 3.
