Quillboars in battle grounds are OP

Seems like since their release they just dominate every game. It’s become a race to best quillboar comp, and nothing else can really beat them unless you somehow had maybe a full team of poison Murlocs? Even then they have 2 boars that pop divine shields; so even that wouldn’t work. Nothing else can full field dominate like them. They have shields, constant power generation, and it naturally snowballs. Everything else eventually hits a wall where you kind of have to stop and top out. They just spawn power every turn so you don’t have to worry about no space to drop anything without a invested sacrifice to risk your constant build up… and I assume they’re in every game because of testing? The concept is interesting, but I feel like they’ve made it stale and uninteresting anymore… it’s just whoever can mesh their character choice to getting boars faster then everyone else… please nerf… …

Nope. Same as elementals, the guy with windfury and divine shield is a notch above the rest. After nerfs the boars are best served in a menagerie diner.

Oh, and Tough Tusk is one of the best tier 2 minions. But that’s just about it.

Agree with EBS on this.

Quillboars are good but not ahead of everything as a tribe like two weeks ago. There are Quillboars enabling Menagerie to just be next level but the don’t really actually help Quillboars as much which is a bit comical to me.

I had queen wagtoggle today, and was able to buff 6/6 with hero power each turn because agamaggan is a beast and is in the game with boars even when beasts are banned. Golden lightfang and gg.

Boars are the DH of BG

the same people worked on them too

give it 3 years … things will calm down

If you get C’thun with elementals you can beat them.

Boars don’t even win most of my lobbies, y’all. Menagerie, poison murlock, elementals, even good pirates tend to win more.

Same observation: boars are out of control.

One cool trick to play Voljin is to keep swapping fake stats buffed by that boar giving +2 attack with that taunt boar

Quilboar are still as good as ever, in fact, I just had a game where I made a MAJOR mistake but Quilboars got me out (barely, with only 1 minion remaining with 4 health, but still).

What happened: I had only 1 health left with a Wrath Weaver in the 90’s (so didn’t want to sell it) and never got Mal’ganis. I made the major mistake of tripling my Imp Mamas, which I caught just in time to not lose, but too late to not waste them. Fortunately, part of my build was a Golden Agamaggan and a regular Charlga, and my hand contained a 2nd Charlga and Groundshaker which I put on the board to fill the now 2 empty spots. The resulting buffs made a major difference, from just 2 regular minions just like that.
