As others have posted, quests are not updating automatically. This happens for me with both the weekly/daily quests and also for the daily quests on the Bounty Board for Mercenaries as well as any quest line for individual Mercenaries. The only way for everything to update is to close Hearthstone and then reopen it.
If a Developer reads this please also see my Hearthstone Continues to crash posts. I just miss the game I love so much running like it used to and I’ve been trying to get this resolved for literally over a year.

Same issue here, already sent a ticket, wasnt useful at all
I think this bug is not gonna be fixed soon as it makes people stay logged more in game and play more as opposed to logging just to do quests.
So they kinda like it
I have the same bug and its really annoying ! in my case its for every quests they put on. Please fix it blizzard, like someone said, we shouldnt needed to quit and open the game again and again to fix the problem ! >.<
been over a week, this should have already been fixed. And now they have a new event…still not fixed.

Same here. Happened after a patch. I don’t even want to patch the game anymore as it just introduces more bugs.
