I have recently optained the questline for Priest and after strugling with trying to create a deck that is a wee bit successful. I might assume I need to improve the curve of the deck to be better. What has been working for others in the amount of each cards in their deck?
Sad reality is don’t bother with the quest. You can only complete it a tiny percentage of the time and then it will be a minimum of turn 10 before you could ever play the quest reward.
Worst questline of the expansion.
Its a meme deck and EVEN I would not reccomend it cuz even when u think ur having a good mana curve built into ur deck every second game ur gona either face mage where ur ash gona get wooped so bad u wish u had not open the game OR ur hand is gona be like quest, 3 mana card, 5 mana card.
It is a meme deck and most of the time u dont even need the qiest to win, me as well probably won more games without it cuz deep down it is a control deck and if u manage to hit lategame where u can pump out ur big value cards AND NOT PLAYING VS MAGE u won.
There was onléy a couple of wins where i actualy needed the quest to win otherwise i lost but that is a realy small percentage of the already small number of my wins with the deck cuz for some reason im still constantly getting matched with dum dum mage palyers(no offense this is just how i refer mage players all the time), no realy mage players are the worst f em all go play solitaire!!(stop brain say nice things!!!) NEVER!!!
I know, but when I obtain fun meme cards like this quest, C’Thun and Yogg, I can’t resist playing them. That is why I play a super greedy control hunter with them in it.
I do agree the questline mage makes it so no fun decks can be easily played. I play decks that might not have good win rate so I can have fun in this meta.
Not really a meme card. It’s pretty good for climbing the ladder.
You wanna build your deck largely as a tempo deck. Far Watch Post and Crossroads Watch Post are pretty essential. Ogremancer too. Just for the quest match-ups to keep you in the game. Questline Mage in particular has to make really stupid plays to deal with Ogre and Crossroads.
Elekk Mount (as your only spell) & Alura are pretty mandatory for the same reason. You want stuff that generates cheap spells for Alura too, so you can combo her once your quest reward is in your deck to play it immediately.
Turn 9 is actually the minimum…

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone
Thanks, this can help me build a custom one to my playstyle and collection. I keep forgetting cheesemonger is a card, but it should help with a route I want to try and take the deck.
How well does the deck get started with a 2 or 3 drop for you? That deck has a few less 2-3 drops than I was expecting.
Check out Kibler on YouTube. He played a lot of quest priest and piloted it to legend. I’ve had decent success with his deck. The watch posts are key to beating mage and will often get people to concede.
He did very well with that deck. I am missing Alura, but have found a minion that can replace Alura to play the reward the following turn.
you can run youthful brewmaster and shuffle multiple shards into the deck
i use it for the warrior reward
Grats on 400 dust!
Lol, would be also fun to randomly generate the druid lengendary that cast spells when drawn.
brightwing is the key to that
How you get the shard on turn 9? Also it is a 10 mana card.
you can cast it from your deck
You need the coin and another 0 cost spell for that, right? Either that or a cost reduction on Alura. At least in standard.
That would be correct. Unless there is some miracle deck that is unbeknownst to us witch abuses bloodweaver.
I don’t know what they want the priest players do.
Control? No way, the questlines erradicated the archetype from existence.
Questline? It is the worst, ironically the only one it is fair and an actually quest, by far and not competitive at all.
In desperation priest players try the hiper aggro route with shadow build and Illucia, what they do? Nuke Illucia and leave questline mage untouched.
Seriously, show some dignity, refund all players the priest cards they have and remove the class, will be much more honorable than this.
I kinda feel like Alura is mandatory unfortunately.
It’s plenty competitive. Kind of expensive, but competitive. Probably not high tier, but you can climb with it.
