I am new to Battlegrounds and have a question: I just played a game where I forced Demons from the very start of the game. No other player even had any demons on their warband at any point throughout my duration of the game. I made it to fourth place (I’m not sure exactly how many rounds it was, but it had to be double digits) and only found one Juggler. There were multiple times where I spent my entire ten gold refreshing the available minions trying to find a second one, but a second one never appeared. How is this possible?
Random is why. The chance to hit a specific minion is maybe a couple percent per roll. Rolling for 1 minion is how u lose at BG instead if working with what is offered
Ok…but is there a resource that I can look at that will show how many of each minion are included each game? Or is that also random?
At the start of the game. There are 16 copies of each Tier 1 minion, 15 T2, 13 T3, 11 T4, 9 T5, and 7 T6.

Don’t underestimate the game’s randomness. I go from games where I get literally nothing of interest, to games where I get 6 Macaws in a snap (and believe it or not, that was my first time ever I tried the Macaw + Goldrin combo, since I barely play BGs since then: I simply played it today because I got the Play 2 BG quest and didn’t want to just cheese it by conceding, and since A.F.Kay’s HP started me out with Macaw from the beginning…).

I think they changed it, I remember a year ago I’d find three of the same minions or even two or three to four of the same minion archetype, now it’s extremely random.

Battlegrounds is weird sometimes. There have been matches where I wonder if a certain minion has been removed due to a game bug. Then it appears a few matches later, when I’m not hunting for it.

Thank you very much to everyone for your replies! I was wondering if there was any rhyme or reason to this mode and now I know that there is! The games I’ve played so far have been very random. I’ll win with Ysera or Fleurgl without trying, yet have my a$$ handed to me playing Lich King or Maiev. Also I have the math skills of an ape, and not a smart one. Not one that can do sign language. Not the kind that understands magic tricks. The poop throwing kind. Maybe now I can get 7th place every once in a while🤔
Got to admit I did get slightly triggered this morning when playing as AFK and I was offered salty looter and another pirate.
I was the only person in the lobby going pirates and although I built an “okay” board, I -10 rolling on t5 for just about any playable pirate and was getting rubbish. Didn’t get offered a single t5 pirate and was never able to triple my looter or my gold grubber.
The bit that tilt me was the fact that 4 people in the lobby had gone beasts and all 4 of them had combinations of Mccaw/goldrinn/mama/hydra/baron.

I had 3 games in a row where I couldn’t get a single golden minion even when I had 2 pairs from turn 3 to 9.
3 games where your best shot is to finish 4-5th.
Edit : Or even those BS games where you face the same 3 top3 heroes over and over again.
Like last game where I went against retard LK turn 1, 4, 7, with afk turn 3…
