When has it ever dominated a meta?
I’m looking at a 18 attack one right now, turn 7. Does it have to be a historically dominating card? Or can it just suck right now?
Edwin has NOTHING on this card, this meta.

Yes. I came here to tell you about “one highroll”.
I can’t recall any occasion where Questing Adventurer was a meta-defining card. An 18/18 minion can still be destroyed easily by a Hex or Shadow Word: Death.
Lots of cards (Including many bad cards) can seem OP when your opponent has the perfect hand to synergize with it, and you don’t have an answer to it.
You’re literally the first person I’ve heard complain about it, and you referred to a specific example where you saw an 18/18 qa.

Its good that all decks have big game hunter in them, thats the card we should be building decks around in 2020! And OFC all classes have a sheep and hex, that’s right, I’m so silly… I’ll go back to the silly hole I came out of now…
So? do you have no hard removal in your deck? you deserve that loss then IMO
A single, big card you have to expend resources to take advantage of? Seems balanced.
Admit it, you’re salty because you lost to it a couple of times and not because it’s objectively op. Go on, youll feel better
i am waiting for when someone will ask to hall of fame lorewalker cho because it “countered” the spell druid turn 
(stupid example because it isn’t a counter, but everything can happen on this forum)
Hum… 18/18 not bad. I rarely get my Questing Adventurer above 12/12 but I rarely need to if I can drop the opponent to 5 HP on turn 4 with Mana Addict.
BTW, most deck using Mana Addict and Questing Adventurer near the Meme Side more than the Competitive Side.

Wow mana addict is like soo beta 2014 hearthstone I haven’t seen one in a deck since some experiments with tempo secret mage since the nerf to mana wyrm

Turn 1 - Hero Power or Battlefiend.
Turn 2 - Mana addict.
Turn 3 - Coin, Twin Slice, Twin Slice, Second Slice, Second Slice.
Mana Addict hit for 11, Hero hit for 8 and Battlefiend hit for 2.

The entire idea of having an evergreen set is let those evergreen cards shine from time to time due to new interactions and metagame changes.
It means that questing adventurer getting gigantic due to the actual circumstances of the metagame is proof that it is an healthy part of game.
Evergreen cards that are unhealthy are cards that are ALWAYS played or that push their archtypes to ALWAYS be viable.
In other words it being powerful at the actual circumstances is not an reason to HoF it.

While usually you would be correct, there’s actually been a bit of a push in the last couple of weeks directly or indirectly from some of the meta-game data-gathering sites to suggest that Galakrond Rogues start using Questing Adventurers in their decks. You could take a look at the Rogue section of the most recent VS report (and I think the one before it as well, but I’m not sure without checking). Here’s the VS suggested lists for Galakrond Rogue (both Stealth and Secret versions) which both suggest playing Questing Adventurer (though not as a core card):

Questing is fine. It’s mostly abused by Rogue’s ability to play 10 cards for 0 mana without spending much more than a shadowstep or two. Edwin is more of a problem, imo.
HoF the entire B&C sets and get it over with! Its happening one card at a time anyway, so just DO IT already Blizztard!
