I just want an excuse to spend more than I already should on the Darkmoon Faire wheel to get the signature Ohpoo. I don’t want the pet. Even if I had the money.
I don’t like it. It moves too much. It’s distracting. I like clicking rapidly on things. I like my rock floating in the top right corner. I like my archery target in the bottom right. I like clicking on all the little daggers and hearing the spring noises. I like shooting off the lasers at the rocket
… squashing the watermelons and teleporting boots and onions.
I couldn’t care less about the dinosaur

In League of Legends I will buy a skin on the chance that I will play a champion one time a year. There are some skins I have yet to use. Some default skins I absolutely despise. I would not be caught dead making a fashion statement in certain base skins.
I’ll go AFK
Regarding Ohpoo I don’t even like the art. I’m just a Rogue main and I want it. I’m an idiot. I’m a compulsive spender. The designed experience interacts significantly with the caliber of my mental health. That’s OK. I’m aware of it and I try to manage it as best I can.
I allow/afford myself to engage in unrecommended behavior like this. Everyone does something they wish they wouldn’t do as much. I buy cosmetics. Sometimes I buy cosmetics I never use. I just want them. This goes for makeup and other certain aesthetic products as well.
I like pretty things. I collect pretty things. I can’t help it. I already know I’m likely going to get the Master Dusk signature. Just go look at that card. It looks amazing. The base art for Master Dusk is good too. I really like it. No one should feel left out about not having the signature. I did get the Diamond Talgath (brother gifted it) so it would look gorgeous together.
Yes I understand the different synergies that you bring up. However, not even City Chief Esho would work since these minions do not belong to a tribe. Why aren’t Tortollans a tribe? There are Naga, Quilboar (only lore), and Totem. Changing ninjas to spells that cast when drawn improves the standard Rogue meta. Allowing a card like Dig for Treasure to specialize improves Rogue’s hallmark flexibility. Every card has a purpose and deck building affords adaptability compared to other classes.
This is why I continue to play Rogue. The other classes lean into static design. Most classes flexibility—not always—comes from discovered options and open-ended spell or minion generation rather than having single cards with varying utility and application across games. Or the deck has a completely direct path that you want to execute every single time.
For example, Starship Death knight wants you to get Soulbound Spires with reborn and immediately get a starship to 10 attack. If you can play the Exodar alongside an Orbital Moon on turn 8 the game is essentially over. You do not need the Exodar to win. The win condition is solely based on your Soulbound Spires and your starship being at 10 attack. This is all you care about this is all you do. There is nothing more to the deck. Nothing wrong with that I played this deck all the time and it’s very fun.
Rogue is a class that more often than not results in no two games being the same. Not based on the spells and cards that you generate—specifically disregarding Thief Rogue—but referring to how the same tools can lead to creative open-ended solutions. You will use your resources differently and find new combinations that make difficult problems for your opponent to solve. Allowing you to interact with your cards in a previously undiscovered way.
Of course there is a Tempo Rogue. Of course there is Faceroll Rogue and a Weapon Rogue. You can build straightforward and simple decks in any class. However, the class has more capacity for open-ended play and flexibility than others. This change to Interrogation would improve other class mechanics.
Does Lor’themar work with Kil’Jaeden? Because I think you just want to do the same thing then. You only add Theron to the deck I mentioned here. The ninjas are a bridge to your win condition.
When ninjas are spells you’re almost guaranteed to draw Theron before turn seven. Or you’re hitting the quest before turn seven and likely have Theron or Kil’Jaeden. In wild you’re gonna need that speed.
This is nowhere close to being refined and I am still testing it, but I’m also playing many other things right now. You can swap out Backstab, Twisted pack, Oh Manager and Barbed Thorn. Talgath is 100% acceptable, but based on my deck logic above I have not included it. Cindersword is one of the best cards in this meta to deal with Flutterwing Guardian. Rogue has very few efficient options to deal with this card. This is one reason Talgath is so strong (4-damage Backstabs).
As of now Lucky Comet is basically a dead card unless you are running a pure combo or weapon deck. The combo pool has increased and is now running less impactful minions. Before you were highly likely to choose from three cost minions: Bargain Bin Buccaneer, SI7 Agent, Talgath or Eredar Skulker. Any of those minions strongly impacted the early board and even late game helped reestablish control.
If you wanted to take the risk or if you had coin on turn two, you could use Preparation with Lucky Comet and likely play one of the minions. You can do this on turn one with coin hoping to get Eredar Skulker for a massive power play. This is no longer recommended. In the case of SI7 Agent, you could chain Lucky Comets to get 12 damage. Naturally Rogue can Shadowstep and Web of Deception the SI7 Agents for additional reach.
Now, if you are presented with your three options being Opu the Unseen, Nefeset Weaponsmith and Defias Ringleader you might as well concede. None of those options are going to be impactful enough in this meta. Unless your deck is centered around pure combo or weapons. However, the card is still strong and including a single copy is acceptable and worth the risk. If you take Lucky Comet, it may be worth considering to take Talgath. Since you can always use the combo buff on your Talgath and get two Backstabs guaranteed.
You can still discover all the same combo minions and Talgath off of Smoke Bomb. They will not double their combos, but they will have other very strong dark gift effects that are equally impactful. Note: discover Talgath or other combo minion from Smoke Bomb then trigger with single Lucky Comet rather than include Talgath minion.
Elusive or reborn Talgath is incredibly dangerous.
You hold Artanis and play them (plant-based organism) sometime during your kil’Jaeden timeline. Otherwise used for emergency survival. You can technically get two Templar from the Smoke Bombs.
