The only ones that give me a battle, are Mage, Warlock and Hunter… I have battled several Priest players on the quest line, and as easy as it looks I never see them complete it… Shamen is like another shudderwok, but I have not had a whole lot of trouble with them… Rogue I have never seen complete either… The rest, I don’t recall if I have encountered… What is the order of best to worst? And what happens when a Priest completes theirs? Also are there any that are just too easy, and should be nerfed? Or too hard and should be buffed? Or are they where they are supposed to be?
Seriousöy havent rum into otk DH with 23 cycle cards, quest and ilgynoth÷usual combo cards? Draw draw draw quest complete draw draw draw 60 damage or so from hand.
For me it goes like this:
1:Warlock
2:Shaman
3:Mage
4:Rogue
5:Druid
6:Hunter
7:Demon Hunter
8:Warrior
9:Paladin
10:Priest
Thats for standard in wild i think Hunter easly moves up to n2 slot.
In wild, here are my thoughts:
- Mage/Warrior/Hunter
- Warlock
- Shaman
- Pally/Druid/Rogue
- DH
- Priest
There are those equally matched, so I put them in the same rank.
LMAO at Warlock being #4 in wild of all things.
I seriously question your level and rank you play at…
Warlock and Shaman appeared in tier 1 of yesterday’s HSreplay legend meta, with tier 2 devoid of quests and in tier 3 (< 50% wr) Hunter, Rogue, Mage and two Warlock hybrid Quest decks.
Problem is, nerf quest Shaman&Warlock and Aggro will take over since Warlock & Priest also block off late/fatigue Control decks.
i have the DH quest but havent used it because i have no idea on what i should try to do to take advantage of its reward
What, no one is impressed by the fearsome Light’s Justice reward for Paladin? It’s almost like there’s this ludicrous gap in the tempo/resource recovery built into the other questlines, while Paladin has to run enough 1-drops to make hyper-aggro blush, but then… skip turn 1, and receive the weakest weapon in the game as the only catch-up in Mana or board presence.
Exactly how I would rate this as well for standard. Also I think Shaman quest can be very problematic in the future especially if they get more burn. Generally doubling anything can get out of hand very quickly based on the fact how scalling works.
In wild they are already having ludicrous damage from hand after Bru’Kan.
Lightning Bloom, 6 dmg Lightning Bolt, 12 dmg (best case) Crackle, 10 damage Lava Burst and then like a billion damage with overdraft.
Maybe it’s because I didnt have all the cards to make the ideal set for warlock, so I keep losing to the mage, hunter and pirate questlines cos they keep hitting my face and getting my life low. Stuck at D6 cant get to D5.
Any advice will be helpful in keeping my life high.
If we’re going on how good they are in standard (and not how fun) I’ll probably go with:
1.Warlock
2.Mage
3.Shaman/DH
4.Druid
5.Rogue/Hunter
6.Paladin/Warrior
7.Priest
Well, one thing is for sure - priest is the worst.
The others all have potential
You could spectate some of the current grandmasters games, Quest Warlock is one of the main decks there. If you’re inclined to link your account to Youtube, you can even earn 2 packs of yesteryear (Year of the phoenix)

probably should put Shaman at #2
and after the Il gynoth nerf i´m not convinced of the DH quest
(albeit i guess there´s a difference between just rating the value of the quest alone or a quest deck)
Yup thanks for the advice. Watching now.
I play wild though, so not much use here. Wish there was a tourney for wild for me to watch and learn.
Shaman and rogue quests my worst match up. I usually just concede against quest priest because the sheer amount of board clear they get or discover (mass silence counts) makes it very difficult for me to win against them. They never seem to run out of stuff.
1-mage : Enable the dreaded, consistent quest mage.
2- Warlock Strong quest that synergize well with warlock standard kit. Note that Shaman and hunter quest are stronger than this imo, but because of the lack of support in standard, they fall lower on the list.
3- Shaman Busted, but because Shaman lack card draw that synergize with overload, doesn’t finish the quest at quickly as it could if you could just chain the overload and lightning bloom.
4- Hunter Busted, but because Hunter doesn’t have a lot of draw outside of beast archetype, and no support for spell slinger, get slightly lower on the list.
5- Rogue Viable, decent, solid, not as strong.
6- Paladin Infinite value, but not as good at it could be due to it being slower than hyperaggro and value not being useful in a fast combo meta. Also have some heavy deck building restrictions
7- Druid viable, decent, solid, but easily countered.
8- Warrior Viable, decent, solid, but slow and isn’t as good a wincondition as the other.
9- DH easy to complete, but because of the deckbuilding restriction, doesn’t really enable a good archetype right now… who know, maybe big demon could be a thing with it like I initally predicted?
10- Priest too slow, can never complete it. But buffing it might propel it to best and most hated quest.
Go follow GetMeowth on twitch, he is a very good wild streamer and has been playing a ton of quest warlock lately
Ah ok thanks for the tips bro! I will check him out now.
Just checked this: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1122497289
He mostly plays against the warlock opponents, but the first hunter questline opponent at 32:00 he met, he lost. That’s exactly the problem I faced, which I why I am asking for help how to deal with this. He had two armour vendors but that wasn’t sufficient. That’s why I ranked hunter questline above warlock questline.
It’s interesting his version has no giants or unlicensed apocathery. Will try it.
