Quest Hunter phase 2 reward is to set your HP to 0 mana. But if you play Tavish after that reward, your new HP is reset to 2 mana. If you can manage to play Tavish prior to completing phase 2, then the new HP will stay at 0 mana once phase 2 is completed. Please fix it so the HP remains at 0 mana even if Tavish is played after the phase 2 reward is earned.
There’s nothing to fix, this is working as intended.
Well, I’m not 100% sure about that. Maybe they intended for the HP discount to last the whole game and never considered the possibility of playing Tavish after phase 2 was completed.
The HP discount is both worded and functionally implemented as an enchantment on the current hero power only, NOT an aura effect applied to your hero. If they intended for it to persist after changing hero powers there’s no reason they wouldn’t word and implement it as an aura effect for your hero, especially since that’s how the final quest reward works.
Yes. What you’re saying does make sense. But I don’t know if that was actually their intent. That might have merely been a simple way to implement the effect and they never considered the possibility that you might get a new hero power. Maybe they look at it and say, “Oops, that’s not what we wanted; let’s fix it.” Or maybe they say, “Oops, that’s not what we wanted; but it’s fine the way it is and not worth changing.” Or maybe they say, “Nah… we thought about the other Tavish and felt that should be it’s own deck and didn’t want him to get the 0 mana HP effect (except on the rare occasion of a really fortuitous draw.)” Whatever the result, I see no harm in bringing it to their attention.
