Azshara->Parrot->Shadowstep-Parrot does nothing on the 2nd parrot.
The first parrot gives a random spell from the queen.

You’re going to have to be more specific. What’s going on? Azshara… what? The legendary minion? Which parrot?
Queen Azshara->Parrot gives a spell from Azshara at Random. IF you shadowstep the parrot, you get nothing.
What I think is happening; Queen Azshara’s Battlecry requires that you cast 3 spells in order to trigger her effect (choosing an Ancient Relic).
When you played (I assume) Brilliant Macaw, it checked if you played 3 spells and since you did, repeated Queen Azshara’s Battlecry.
However, when you Shadowstep’d the Brilliant Macaw, the number of spells played was reset. Had you played 3 more spells, then the Brilliant Macaw would have repeated Queen Azshara’s Battlecry.
There are several Hearthstone cards with parrot in the name. Please be specific.
What Soul here is saying is what I’m thinking happened too, by the vague sound of it.
That makes sense soul, but it’s certainly not obvious.
Hm, it might not be obvious, but it’s not totally obscure either. Any card that has “do such and so number of things to activate this” has to be done again if you get a copy of it. Only cards that permanently transform themselves, like corrupt or infuse, are kept the same when you give yourself a copy of it.
