I found it impressive to put it in the hobby section:
Achieved Legendary Ranking, Hearthstone, Top 0.3% out of 1.5 million+ players.

I think it speaks volume about my intelligence and wealth.

As a serious answer though… Resumes or CV’s as they’re known here in the UK don’t need hobbies and interests any more, especially in tech industries. Cramming your resume with sufficient keywords is what will pass the ATS and if you can string them cohesively into a sentence, that’ll impress the employer as well afterwards.

The resume part is the easy part once you know that 95% of your battle is against an AI that filters out resumes that don’t have the right keywords on it.

The hard part is the three stage interview segment that comes afterwards. Good luck with that.

I legit think hitting legendary was an accomplishment worthy of note prior to the star squash change, and definitely not with the bonus stars.

But when you had to attain 5 ranks of 5 stars each to make it to legend, meaning 25 more wins then loses, that was something.

Now, especially with power creep and polarization as well as lack of player agency, you can turn off your brain and play on auto mode since thinking barely matters in this game anymore.

I’ve never hit leggo, and I agree with this thought.

Before the change, I was well on my way, palms sweating every match winning, winning, losing, winning. I can’t remember what my rank was, close to 6 or 7 maybe; I seem to recall the female tauren, the 6 drop, I think.

Then the change came along, and it was fun for a time then I stopped pushing so much. My own issues with the game included, but the grind didn’t feel the same, almost like a “here you go”. Perhaps my brain was in the future because I enjoy the grind for Legend, but if it’s so simple just to get there every season after the fact, where’s the fun (grind wise)? Not to say grinding top legend isn’t a thing of course, but I can’t imagine I wouldn’t have tried too hard once there in comparison to the leggo grind.

I like the change. I hit rank 10 more than once in the old system (and rank 5 at least once), but the new one does feel like more players have opportunity for dopamine kicks.

I don’t have anything against the new ranks. I just think for me the grind felt less rewarding per level. -shrug-

Me? I would revert Sorcerer’s Apprentice in Wild, and I would either ban or severely nerf Titans, Colossals, Quests, and Heroes, as well as get rid of magic answers like theotar, zephrys, etc.
