I would like to discuss how Murozond with Y’shaarj works, the card says “Play all cards your opponent played last turn.” and Y’shaarj says “Add a copy of each Corrupted card you’ve played this game to your hand. They cost (0) this turn.”
Wasn’t it for you to win a copy of the corrupted cards played by Murozond?
Battlecries only trigger when played from hand. Murazond will not copy them.

So many priests have learned this the hard way against my quest shaman.

I’m not talking about the battlecry itself, it says “played” on the card and “play” on Muzorond, so you should get the corrupted cards from Y’shaarj.
Only if they played them. If they didn’t then the only card your opponent played is Y’shaarj and you don’t get the cards from the battle cry.

Murozond isn’t actually play all cards. It’s “cast” all cards your opponent played last turn.

The operative word for the Battlecry keyword is “you”. You need to play the card for the Battlecry to trigger.

I’m talking about the following scenario: your opponent plays any corrupted card, you in your turn play Murozond to repeat all his corrupted cards. None of the battlecry will be repeated but as in Murozond it says that the cards are “played”, was it not for you to get them through Y’shaarj? Because he will return the cards that were played.
If your opponent actually played those corrupted cards for 0 mana, then your moruzond will also play them. If he kept them in hand - you’ll only get a copy of Yshaarj on board.
You will never get cards to your hand from a battlecry minion. Ever. Moruzond can only get cards to your hand from card draw/generating spells, if played by your opponent. Obviously, they won’t be the same as your opponent got (you’ll draw from your own deck and you’ll get randomly picked stuff from discover spells).
Murozond should trigger the battlecries too. This unlogical interaction is annoying me since his release.
He plays the cards that got played, and if a battlecry-card is played it´s battlecry istriggered.
Otherwise it should say “plays all spellcards and summons all minions played in opponents turn”
Battlecry reads “Do something when you play this from your Hand”. Murozond does not play the cards from your hand so battlecries do not trigger.
Nah, it shouldn’t. The one immediate broken interaction I can immediately think of is with galakrond. It would be automatic counter to galakrond decks as you would get the same beefed up galakrond that your opponent so dilligently built + 8/8 body for free, meaning your opponent loses for even having the galakrond.
And considering Moruzond came into existence in the same expansion as Galakronds… Pretty obvious and expected that it would work this way.
P.S. Yes, I most definitely lost my first game when I tried to copy the battlecry of galakrond XD. I’ve copied a bunch of galakronds after that for winning games though, so the even without battlecry it’s still a strong play.
It’s hard to pick between Mindflayer and Moruzond for the strongest priest minion of all time, but it’s definitely one of those. Buffing either of them sounds like madness XD.
Ok, now I see what you are talking about, but the answer is still no. If Murozond plays Corrupted cards your opponent played, your Y’shaarj will not give them to you. That battlecry reads, “Return any Corrupted card you played” and you didn’t play it Murozond did.
