I know this is just the start of the expansion but I feel the classes that have hero cards have an edge over the classes that dont.
Boom, Zuljin and Hagatha are not overpowered when compared to DKs but it’s really hard to out value them when playing the late game.
I think a lot of other control decks and classes could be more viable if they were given hero cards on the level of Boom and Hagatha but still fairer when compared to DKs.
Basically what I am saying is
Make hero cards each expansion and try to get each class to have one or remove hero cards completely.

No hero cards as an entire concept are broken, they are the only card that gives perpetual value, regardless of what the enemy does, every other card has a counter or limited value (spells, weapons and minions), whenever a player plays a hero card there is literally nothing another player can do Nothing, they are the very definition of unhealthy cards.

perpetual value ? can anyone translate ? because i know it cant be "infinite " because you cant go in infinite with any of the heroes we have on standard

Don’t get me wrong, I would love another rogue hero card, since swapping hero powers away from my fly swatter late game would be amazing. However, I think you are wrong about them granting too much advantage. Rogues can draw their entire deck in one go, whereas hunters might as well not have a legendary spell. Rogue has edwin vancleef which can be used in every deck, while shaman has Al’akir, which is best used in a burgle rogue deck. Each class has advantages and disadvantages over the others, and hero cards are no different.
The only fair alt hero card is jaraxxus since it sets your life total to 15 and is countered by another classic card. Everything else just gives so much advantage with no downside. Team5 has been doing this for too long. Cards have no risk vs reward or they are super low that is barely matters.
Cards tt alter hero power exist way before hero card and they are fine. The key is making balanced hero power.
