Priests are .... pfff

I’m positive that priest can not be beaten by any deck other than warlock at the moment. My enemy summoned 7 venomous scorpids, waved of apathy 4 times and healed for 20+ over the whole game. I don’t understand how this is ok. I really believe priest players don’t find the game fun but also make it 0 fun for others too.

I’m pretty sure this is false. It can easily defeat a deathrattle DH, a spell mage, paladin depends on draws and elemental shaman might be the easiest class to beat as a priest. Maybe you haven’t played priest yourself

I mean it’s hilarious when I see people playing control in standard(any class tbh) and they’re clearly an aggro player. The OP claiming someone else hasn’t played priest is probably one of those people who would keep going face against an opponent with several minions on board as a “control priest”

I play miracle rogue at the moment. It’s a meh deck in the meta, probably unfavorable vs most opponents, but I like it because it’s one of the few decks that takes nerves of steel to play well (most games you win you will be “losing” at some point, so it’s not for the fient of heart.) In reality it sits somewhere in t2 or t3, but with a good pilot and correct tech cards it can reach t1 status for short bursts (while the tech cards stay relevant.)

I love and hate hitting a priest with this deck, because priest is greatly favored in this matchup due to all the RNGesus card creation it has available to it.

I hate it because like every priest deck that has been in a decent or good spot, it feels like playing against the cu*tiest player ever when you play them, especially with all the random answers they love high rolling and taking credit for “picking”.

I love it because most priest players I come against don’t understand the matchup very well, and they get complacent relying on RNG to find answers instead of actually running the correct answers in their deck. This means a lot of them blow the key cards they need thinking they can just RNGesus them back when they need to. The fact that I play miracle rogue lulls them into a state of further complacency because they think they have answered all the threats, where in miracle rogue all the massive threats tend to be near the end. All in all, I should have a miserable win rate vs priest, but I’m sitting somewhere at 70 percent right now playing an unfavorable match up.

That said I could just switch to secret rogue and annihilate them out of the meta, but then I’d have to deal with the hunter tyrant which is more problematic.

All in all, if you want to be an as*hole and play priest in the meta thinking you can get free wins vs rogue, just wait till you queue vs me, you better be on your game or your going down.

I just played 10 games as control priest. IMO, I am only favored against Face Hunter. Against all other matches against rush warriors, paladins, deathrattle DH and mirror priest, they were 50/50 based on card draw and game play decisions

This post reads better if you have the bad boys theme playing in the background.

Me hit face very hard, priest explodes. No problem. You should try.

Your logic seems to be that “It can win sometimes so clearly it’s not unfavored” which really isn’t how match-ups work at all. Data from HSReplay and the Vicious Syndicate report suggests Priest is, in fact, unfavored against the Ele / Doomhammer Shaman, DR DH (Inquisitor is a nightmare for Priests), Spell Mage & Wildfire Mage, Secret Paladin, and Poison & Secret Rogue. The Warlock match seems to have improved since pre expansion, probably because N’zoth adds an actual win con to the deck.

priest have plenty of bad matchups, the thing about priest is also that its high skill ceiling allows players who can play the deck very well to still consistently beat bad matchups due to their own technical play (and players lack of ability to in any way plan ahead when playing)

i have won plenty of games vs DH soley of them not paying attention to my hand and gameplay, and they have instead just jammed nzoth into what was very clearly a big removal in my hand

Can confirm, I’m grinding Priest because its the only class I dont have 500 wins in (for a reason) and it makes me sad.

the is unironically true. maybe not just priest, but tons of people on the forums claim they play decks that upset people, to upset people. its really childish and sad TBH

Priest are match ups that take a while to complete. That does not necessarily mean it is unfun for everyone. Myself I do enjoy longer match ups, but I have not played as a priest for a while. It can get annoying when they heal for extreme amounts during a match. since we know that we have to plan accordingly there are two main methods to dealing with them.

  1. aim to kill them in the early game
  2. safe your burst till you can OTK so you also don’t run out of resources.

You can still win even if the priest heals for 69+ damage in a game. I have done that with my hunter deck several times. I would not be surprised if they healed over 100 damage, but I know it was over 69 because it finished my quest off of one game. It is easy to get discouraged with the amount of healing they have find ways to have them heal inefficiently will also help to win against them.

Generaly speaking anyone with half a mind will realise plays that upset the opponent is basicaly any play
-topdecking answer for me IMA GOD for the enemy lucky bastard
-discovering for me OMG top play vs enemy he just got lucky rigged game gg wp
-holding back ur answers and techs for the enemy big plays in general is an ashs move cuz IDK reasons i guess

Its always been like this the best bet anyone can tell you about this dont play the game otherwise u WILL upset others for playing the game…

this is not true. if you think everyone gets upset when they lose that says more about you then the general public.

Yes, I’m sure there’s nothing true about a well-known website harvesting play data from thousands of users, and nothing false about 1 forum poster’s perfectly objective report about their definitely not subjective personal play experience.

I never once said lose in the comment i said plays and yes take it for what ever u want but i dont need to be General Gugliku to know that some players have thicker skin than other and some have thinner even i get upset by some plays but losing nah i play way too many games to get upset over losing some of them thats the general rule of playing games that u lose some of them.

No im talking about the everlasting WHINNERS of these and many more forums/cesspools where players pressing the play button expecting a carnival ride at times and getting mad when they dont get the expected unrealistic gametime where the opponent is a Begginer Bot.

Btw nice of you to cut out one line of what i said without the rest of it real journalist of you.

if you think generally speaking most people get upset playing games for any reason at all. it says more about you. sorry for saying lose.

real fast.

priests are like many band’s 2nd album it looks so cool on paper then you try it and its like ewww and there’s like one good song/deck on it and that’s it.

this is when we used to have bands before tech took over and barfed on everyone lol we had bands back in the day not like macbook and one guy ‘bands’ of today. and, they had no video influence, or low quality non searchable video influence. recording everything and digitalizing everything is super bad for QoL its like opposite effect in most cases. its so pleb
