Why does Priest have to be such a Troll class? I swear every expansion they get worse. Why does ruining other peoples fun have to be a class identity? It is the equivalent of someone driving around in their car all day going 10 miles per hour under the speed limit just to piss people off.

Ray, i am often suprised by the fact you still play this game considering it seems to only bring you frustration.
I am going to give you props on that analogy though. It was perfect.

It does bring me a lot of frustration. The problem is I remember when it was really good and it just pisses me off how low everyones standards have gotten as far as this game is concerned. I swear if the player base would smarten up and hold blizzard accountable for mass producing trash like it does things might change. As far as Priest decks go I have just always hated them and their play style since the beginning. I must be getting old because trolling other players with a cancerous archetype is not my idea of fun. And every time I dont auto concede to a Priest deck I regret it. It is never a fun experience win or lose.
Any specific deck in particular or is it the entire class?

I like control and midrange decks. I dislike Priest decks for their annoying playstyle. I just really don’t like disruption and removal at all. I really like to play board based matchups. I like using minions to trade and build boards. I greatly despise solitaire decks and shenanigan play styles for the most part. Anything that does not involve creating a board and interacting with my opponents board is just a huge irritation for me.

I am playing mostly DK right now with some Pure Paladin mixed in. For the most part I usually like playing Paladin and Warrior decks. Blood DK has potential if it can find another win condition or two. Some removal is obviously a part of the game but excessive removal and disruption is not my thing.
Don’t blame me about the state of Priest, every expansion I sit here lobbying for archetypes I’d rather see than Heavy Removal Priest. RIP Darkbishop, we never did get that Shadow Midrange deck.

Okay Rayray, you should probably try PTCG instead. There is no face, so the entire game is based on board interaction. No one will be stealing your cards from you, so no annoying “priest-like” mechanics. No matter what deck you are playing, you can only make one attack per turn, so there is no aggro.
You see, Hearthstone is not obliged to be the perfect game for you, and you do not have to force yourself to play and enjoy Hearthstone. There exist many games out there for you to try out. Heck, maybe card games aren’t even your true calling. Maybe try playing some turn-based strategy games, like, fire emblem? Fire emblem heroes on the mobile is rather P2W, especially in PVP and some of the event battles, but you can still enjoy a fair bit of F2P experience.
Do you have a switch? Tactics ogre remastered seems dope. Lots of unit-based interaction on the board from what I know. Or try out final fantasy tactics advanced, game is dope. So much interaction on the board happening, you wouldn’t want to stop playing. Though I’m not sure if an old game like this would still be playable on switch or not.
Maybe Warhammer age of sigmar or 40k, if you have enough patience, money, time, space and players.

I think I am misspeaking. I like long interactive matchups but I do not like playing matches with a lot of removal and interruption. I am sure I am still misspeaking, sorry for the confusion. That is still probably a confusing statement.
Because Blizzard seems allergic to giving Priest an ACTUAL Priestly identity. They’re terrified of giving good healing cards and synergies and have decided buffs are Paladin’s thing.
Thanks for the advice. I do have fun with hearthstone but lately it is a-lot of frustration. I played Wow since Vanilla and picked up Hearthstone as a side game. Now I no longer play Wow but still enjoy hearthstone. I think the times I am frustrated with the game are getting more frequent.

You say you like control and midrange decks, but you dislike removal and disruption. You say you like building a board of minions and trading into the opponents stuff, but that the class you hate most is priest. You make no sense at all.
Ramp druid hard counters anything that wants to build a board vastly more effectively than priest. It’s impossible to play minions into shrubbagazor, scales, raid boss, and a billion other rushers. Rogue and demon hunter just blow you out of the water. And if you ever make it to higher ranks or even legend you’ll find that spell demon hunter does a far more effective job of destroying every minion you put down on the board with their fel removal spells… and then they OTK you with jace and spell damage. I’m not saying plague priest isn’t good… it is. But if you take issues with priest’s game play theres about half a dozen other classes you should be clamoring to boycott at the same time. Don’t just tunnel vision onto one class just because you have “feelings” toward it and look at the bigger picture. There’s 5 or 6 classes breaking the game right now. Priest is only one of those elements, and its currently the least represented in play rate.

I make perfect sense. I hate playing against Priest decks period. All of my statements are true. Priest is a class that is built around disrupting an opponents gameplay and removal. They are very long matches that are incredibly irritating and un fun period. I enjoy a long match against most decks just not against Priest. I enjoy matches against Druid decks, Blood DK decks and Control
Paladin and Warrior decks. I hate Priest decks! I refuse to play them, you will always get a win from me with a Priest deck because I refuse to play matches with them. They are completely un fun and horrible to play against. Why is that the case? I have no idea. Why do I not hate Control Warrior and Control Paladin matches? I have no clue but make no mistake, I despise Priest with a passion. If you enjoy the class that is cool. I am glad you like it. I do not and feel like I probably never will the way the class has been designed. I wish I had an answer that made you feel better but I don’t. I despise matches against Priest. Again play what you want its cool , I just hate Priest and think it is a Troll class. Like I said I will reward you with a free win playing a Priest deck against me. Its an instant concede.

That’s you though dude. I get it, I do. Right now I have all the standard cards because I’ve gotten lazy. Typically, I keep DH, Paladin, and Warlock completely empty and fully dusted because I despise playing those classes every bit as much as I hate playing them. I can’t stand the playstyles. I love priest, with over 6K wins now.
Somewhere there is a 3rd guy that can’t stand your decks or mine. Point being that it’s not possible for everyone to enjoy the same things.
And for the record I play between D5 and D2 every month. I have never hit legend and do not ever expect nor do I care to. Too much time playing the game for me to hit legend. Now if you consider D5 to D2 low ranked play then you are correct, I play at a low rank.
