Of course you do. You probably are just the kind of person who enjoys trolling people with that steaming pile of a deck.
There is literally nothing worse that free freezing that you can do whenever for multiple turns in a row while also generating boards that do additional damage. It’s absolutely insane to me that ANYONE thought this should be a thing in the game.
This is the pinacle of annoying bad game play from mage. I thought they couldn’t get worse, boy they went there and more.
This deck shouldn’t have ever been made and it should be unmade asap. I don’t care how much it wins or loses, I played in four of five games and I haven’t opened the game since because the game’s supposed to be fun… and mage is anti fun.
And that’s why you’re wrong.
To you, your opponent having fun is anti-fun. Mage is fun, but you don’t play mage.
No, history show, its why YOU’RE wrong.
Performance isnt the only consideration, regarding balance.
You might not like it, but you are still wrong.
If you were right, Naxx Huntertaker would have been nerfed just as quickly as release DH was.
Naxx Huntertaker was the highest win rate (60%) and highest pop (40%) deck the game has seen, yet was allowed to dominate for 6-8 months!
Swampy, it’s a fallacy to say that previous nerf philosophy is correct nerf philosophy. I’m not talking about what is, was or will be here. I’m talking about what ought to be, and implicitly what ought to have been. Hume’s guillotine, etc
No, your failure to understand that player enjoyment is a key feature of games is why you’re not a game designer.
If I don’t like to play I don’t and I certainly won’t spend money. People just walk away and don’t return, and that’s literally the worst possible thing for any game.
I know you don’t want to admit it, but the player experience is more important than any balance or any single deck.
None of that matters. None of it. Mage is a tiny fraction but if it pisses off the big part it will be nerfed and with good reason - it makes financial sense to nuke these decks.
Mage ought to have never been allowed this trash pile deck, but here we are. Ought in one hand and crap in the other and see what gets full first.
You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried.
Its a fallacy to say that power level is the only valid reason to nerf.
You are wrong. Player engagement is just as, if not MORE, valid than power level to nerf. Period.
Blizzard is hiring devs BTW, so if you think your so much better than they are, by all mean apply for a job and kill the game.
2 mana for up to 8 cards is broken period. You just enjoy arguing with everyone to sound intellectual.
The deck is absolutely toxic. Having 9/9 minions on turn 3 with zero effort is comical. Most of today’s board clear resides in mid-game. This deck is far too powerful early on and completely dominates the board against any deck.
