I use the old pirate rogue build, more or less. Changed 1/1 pirates that give a random card into the new 1/3 UD pirates.
I have no idea about the meta or what approach I will take. Just playing for a bit.

No deck list cuz my idea is simple: pirate rogue.
Why? Because I like to start early in playing with decks that avoid cards that will rotate next year.
Thief and DR are losing major cards, while hooktusk is still gonna be around.
Miniset added two cheap pirates (that also counts as undead/all). If they add even more pirates or other support next expansion/year the deck may become a real contender.
I’ve tried a few 30 and 40 variants and there are pros and cons to each.
General findings:
Setting up draw and dredge (weapon and azsharan vessel) is pretty important so you can consistently advance your plans each and every turn.
The 5 mana 4/4 can be crucial. It’s expensive, but it’s basically a better sap (puts minion to bottom of deck instead of back to their hand)
I actually threw faelin as the last card in a 30 card deck, because at the end of the day pirate rogue isn’t too meta so even after going through 30 cards I may not have won. Faelin actually did help me win 2 games.
I often frequent the CompetitiveHS subreddit, and there are almost always interesting decks I can find there. Here’s one, a “Death Beetle Combo Quest Druid”. Thanks to /gropaquet of Reddit for this one.
