The Darkglare change did nothing to this deck. You can still get it discounted to 0 mana easily or even just play it using health.
The increase in stats to compensate was practically a buff, as well as Stealer of Souls’ animations being much faster allowing for more cards to be played on the Combo turn.
Still regularly completing the Quest on Turn 6 and 7.

Why’s it called D6 warlock? I have the deck, too, but am unclear as to its name.

The 6 core demons being 2x Nightshade Matrons, 2x Darkglares, and 2x Stealer of Souls.

You’re right lmao. It’s still a turbo mana cheat machine.

Just give them the old DH treatment and nerf them 3 patches in a row. That’ll fix 'em up nicely.

The deck is making Kibler want to quit playing this patch already lol.
He lost to 3 Warlocks in a row by Turn 6.

I’m very interested to see how Blizzard is going to fix this. I don’t think there is any chance they will change life tap unless part of some grand re-design that would be likely a key feature of an expansion. Nerfing Raise Dead also hits priest, so that seems like something they would want to avoid (but I could be wrong). In the long run, I think phasing Raise Dead out of standard may be better for design purposes - 0 mana cards seem to be either busted or useless, balance is incredibly difficult. I think they may just have to kill dark glare or butcher the quest. I’d think the devs would try to, under all circumstances, avoid modifying the quest since it’s a legendary and key part of the expansion, so it has to be dark glare right?

You don’t even run Raise Dead in D6. You don’t need it, plus there’s a chance of getting Voidwalkers because of the 4 mana Deal 3.
The issue is Stealer of Souls. If that gets hit, the deck dies.

Can we have 2 mana fiery war axe now? Still too OP? Asking for a friend!

not really surprising anyone given that Stealer of Souls had been left untouched.

I haven’t played today, is D6 the only problem or is the no-hands control deck also being a menace?

I don’t know for sure yet, but D6 completes it’s Quest consistently by Turn 6-7. The other variants of Warlock are a bit slower though, usually completing by Turns 8-10.
I didn’t even play either Darkglare or Flesh Giant in my Quest Zoolock (the good version that uses Quest as support rather than as finisher) and I still have very high winrates, it was extremely obvious to me those nerfs would make literally no difference whatsoever.
Could you post the D6 deck? I’ve been using this deck, but apparently, it’s not D6:

It’s just a problem with their design ideas. They keep taking things that are supposed to be negatives (taking damage, overload, etc.) and making those things desirable or removing the negative effect. At some point it’s going to break the game

You’re running a Handlock version of Quest.
This is the deck I’m running. It’s just Jarla’s list from GMs.

I’m not sure why it’s not letting me post the full list, just the code, but you can see it at this link.

I’m trying out his Jace Darkweaver deck now. I doubt I’ll pull it off.
Thank you! I couldn’t seem to find it Googling ‘D6 Warlock.’
