I hope not. I hate this deck with a passion. But with the new Priest spell Animate Dead (1 mana resurrect a friendly minion that costs 3 or less) and with some deathrattle support surely on the way (possibly reborn buffs?), we could possibly see a faster Boar Priest deck come into the meta. I’m really hoping this isn’t the case, but that new 1 mana spell is definitely helpful to that archetype.
I was initally thinking that too, but I cant imagine they would stop running the other 6 minions that cost less than 3. The deck requires consistency and the animate dead spell does not improve the consistency of the deck in its current form
Would it not be possible to run that as the only 3 or less minion and run draw/removal? Seems the biggest problem the deck had was cycling Amulet so that it could rez copies, and thus the cheap minions with the draw engine for it were needed. Now, you really don’t need your amulets high at all since this gives you that boost to the count.
You still have to get through the entire deck to increase the amulets. I dont see anyone surviving long enough if you are dropping all of the draw Northshire Cleric and Handmaiden provide
If you’re hating on the deck archetype with the most South Park references, I must ask: if your rule brought you to this, of what use was the rule?
I don’t know what you mean because I haven’t watched South Park in like…20 years.
There’s an episode where the South Park kids are playing World of Warcraft and have to kill, like, millions of boars to level up enough to try and defeat a Player-killer character. They’re not strong enough until Stan’s dad brings them the Sword of a Thousand Truthes which deals high damage and burns the opponent’s mana.
Edit: It’s called “Make Love Not Warcraft”
Go watch Season 10 Episode 8 then come back.
Edit: why spoil?
Oh, yes I’ve seen that one.
I’ve seen it. I thought you were making a reference to South Park about some rules that exist about hating that specific card. I don’t understand what you mean by “if your rule brought you to this”.
I wasn’t aware that I had “rules” on hating a card, so how I could point out a specific one?
Sorry, just not sure of what you’re asking.
If you’re just asking why do I hate the card, it’s because it’s extremely non-interactive. It’s playing a solo game, similar to Mozaki. If it gets its setup, which it can do (albeit no where near as fast as Mozaki) then it’s pretty much just a game ending combo. Very hard to interact with. Just not a style of play in a card game I like. To each their own.
I don’t even know what that means. No one knows what it means. But it’s provocative, gets the people going!
I have a feeling this is a quote from a movie I’ve likely seen lol
ugh
EDIT: Or TV Show? Feels like something I might have heard in Breaking Bad.
I KNEW IT! but at the same time, didn’t know it. lol
But the number of boars you have to kill is wrong.
But I believe I HAVE solved it, good sir. I remember the entire episode.
…unless, there’s something else?
This was where we were.
This was where we were.
I know where it’s from, but I don’t know what you meant by it specifically in that context.
White trash television show that caters to the lowest common denominator. Why on earth would you watch it? I know Schyla to be an intellectual and an intelligent individual, so I’m happy to hear you haven’t watched it since you were very young. What a steaming pile of detritus.
