Possible bug with Jotun, the Eternal

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a bug or just nasty gameplay stacking up, so please forgive me if its not. I was just in a match of DH vs DK. I played “Jotun, the Eternal”.

This gives all my cards “Cast When Drawn”. When the DK shuffled their plagues into my deck, they are also “Cast When Drawn”. This seemed to occasionally result in the plague triggering twice, casting when drawn as a spell due to Jotun, and when drawn as the actual card itself.

If a Plague is the first spell you drew that turn, then you cast a copy of it because Jotun, and the actual drawn one casts also. So yes you suffer the effects twice.

This seems to be exactly how those cards should work.

What actual bug are you reporting?

I would agree with you if Jotun was literaly giving spells “cast when drawn”
If a spell is already cas twhen drawn and is given cast when drawn, it is still just a cast when drawn and should be played only once (and even that could be debated)
But Jotun actually casts a copy of the first spell you cast. So it will do as its text reads : you draw a plague, which is a spell, so it casts a copy of the spell : a copy of the plague.

(replying to OP but forgot to click reply and seems like I can’t edit it in that way)
