Poopsicle expansion

infinite values
insane card gen
one turn kills
awful art

They brought back everything toxic that balancing has been avoiding, and removed tools we had to prevent it. Then took away from the original character of the game that was light hearted and instead have this artwork that is dark and takes itself way too seriously. Guess this is activision at work - RIP blizzard you were once a mountain among game companies.

You cannot be serious xD This is the prime proof that you can’t possibly make everyone happy at the same time

Up until now, most people constantly complained about their artwork becoming more and more childish and innocent, and it was in the results of a questionnaire they issued, that they saw that was the case, which is why this expansion brought a bit darker themes

They literally listened to us.

You can’t be serious right now. Go play a pokemon card game not one inspired by Warcraft. This art is amazing and this tone direction is what most people have been asking for.

Sir this a Wendy’s

And It really isn’t that dark btw.

It is Just normal really. Or he wants the leechs smiling and singing a Disney like song about sucking?

lol that was the opposite of what world of warcraft players were wanting for WoW they complained that the expansion previous and current were too lighthearted

Guess this is Activision at work?

It’s nearly 20 years since Activision bought out blizzard, and it was already done before Hearthstone was created and launched.

If there is any new influence, it would be Microsoft.

Just nuke armor DH. Other than that it seems ok so far. Mind is kind of numb after a week of nonstop protoss druids, excavate warlock and weapon rogues as opponents. Too early to tell. Except armor DH. That deck can die in a fire.

The art seems great IMO but that’s subjective I guess.

I love the art of this expansion, really there’s only one sour note for me and its how explicitly broken Starship DH is and it seems like an oversight to me.

Granted, its a really obnoxiously strong deck with one of the highest winrates despite being by and far the most laddered deck, and 40+ minute time mirrors don’t help things much, but it also feels like a very easily testable “wow that’s not an interaction we like”

No but not every single card needs to take itself so seriously?
