No; I pointed out that mage has had playstyles taken from it for reasons that clearly do not apply to others.
I have no real problem with freeze Shammy existing.
I take issue with Freeze mage being taken away for being: “uninteractive”,
when that condition clearly does not exist for others.
Just another example of Mage being treated as the Beta class.
Did Freeze Mage play many minions? I don’t think I was around for that deck, alas. I’m going off what I’ve read here.
Not as many as Shammy I don’t believe, but yes it played minions. Around twelve in it’s original form, though that varied over the permutations.
I do hope that you aren’t trying to suggest that it was akin to spell mage, because it wasn’t, and trying to make that comparison only illustrates how there is always a caveat for mage that other classes do not have to operate under. No one cares how many minions Shammy plays and I have never seen that point raised here.
No, no. I’m trying to gauge how similar it was to today’s Freeze Shaman. I’ve seen the argument made here that they’re different because shaman plays minions. However, 12 minions is plenty.
I see it as just another example of how mage gets measured with a different ruler.
“Mage doesn’t play any minions” but not once can I recall any instance of anyone questioning how many Shammy runs.
A stall deck is a stall deck. Mage had theirs taken, but the style is fine for others.
It’s not Snowfall Guardian by itself that is the problem, though it is a very powerful card, and one that I do not believe would be allowed to exist in Mage. Instead; it is activating said spell repeatedly for free.
Free stuff has ruined this game imo.
I feel the same way about all of the parrot cards that repeat spells for nothing.
They all need to go.
= QQ i play aggro druid and i get countered by one card alone
He is right though. It’s busted against every boardbased deck, not just aggro druid.
