Please Nerf Death Knight

Seriously how is this broken deck allowed to be played but you manage to ban Jailer in a few days?

Please nerf this cancer deck, life steal, big minions on early turns, board clears and finishing games with close to full hp?

Please balance your game, you are terribly bad at doing it.

Please also nerf other decks I can’t win against, then the game shall be balanced.

Which death knight? Serious question, since you mention lifesteal, i’m tempted to think blood DK, are you talking about triple blood? Didn’t seem to me triple blood DK was doing too well in this meta, perhaps a resurgence?

yes lets nerf DK when it is bad enough already, lets nerf paladin instead

I guess he’s playing ramp Druid, and got his major win condition deleted by Patchwerk.

unholy also. Nothing like seeing a 0 mana 8/8 followed by marrowgar literally every single time. Every single DK I have faced is unholy playing the exact same mind numbingly boring and predictable deck. And no, just because its predictable doesn’t mean its easy to beat when you get shyte draws.

Oh, its a thinly disguised rigging complaint, taking on the cover as a “nerf DK” thread.

The super aggro DK (which honestly you’re probably facing a bot, all the bots are aggro Unholy) is kind of annoying right now because most of the meta is greedy/late game decks or midrange. So you wanna build for those match ups, but aggro UH is like the opposite.

But it’s really just a matter of making some deck adjustments, it’s a very beatable deck.

Yeah, lets nerf one of the worst classes in the game now and the foreseeable future. Feels like a solid plan.

Aye, Blood DK can be annoying because it’s a control deck essentially. If you like, run a deck that performs well against it. I’d give you some lists but Blood DK is used so little that there’s virtually no data as to its matchups. Sorry.

Understandable. It definitely breaks the rules we’ve come to know. The same goes for Blood DK raising their HP to an upwards of 40.

Very modest of you to say. What rank are you at (or haven’t you been playing?).

Don’t need to nerf DK much for a start… need to remove Prince Renethal from standard and make sure DK can increase it’s HP only 2 times… no discovery… that would make an end to 40 card endless control decks… and I mean not just DK… Priest is also a joke with it’s Creation Protocol… this should be changed too to not let discover Legendaries… I would call it for everything but not fair to let Priest use discover it’s Titan 4 times… The same goes for Rogue’s Shadowstep… I know this is hard because of the insane aggro… but thats why it should be nerfed too… take away mass buff from all aggro’s… need to make them weakened back to let this happen… or else… aggro will be even stronger ofcourse. Need to slow things down and make it fair again.

You can’t make this stuff up

I always wonder what this means.

“Make my deck #1, nerf everyone else who plays it, and only IM allowed to win with it!”
*Blizzard: Nerfs 8 classes for 8 weeks straight and ignores their deck

Them: “OMG BLIZZARD, a deck still wins against me!”
Blizzard: “Doesn’t nerf a 44% wr deck”

Someone else: “Buff warrior, it’s bad”
2 days later: “Warrior is getting buffed”

Them: “OMG WHO ASKED FOR THIS!” “THEy don’t listen to us at all!”

New deck gets made that immediately farms warriors and has no counters at legend
Gets nerfed/banned within 2 days.

Fourms "OMG blizz doesn’t listen to us at all! We asked for a emergency ban 2 days ago, and 1 day ago it was banned! But 2 days after i left the feedback asking for it to die, i crafted it! blizzard sucks!!

/s

:stuck_out_tongue:

Ofc it’s a joking strawman, but it does feel like blizzard has a habit of doing what people told them… 2 days ago. And the fourms have a habit of complaining about whatever they did… 1 day after the patch. XD

From my perspective, what that means is that the meta is too far from the ideal 50% winrate throughout all classes. Of course not every deck is viable; I am talking about what we call meta decks.

Blizzard don’t have a way of testing balance before releasing a patch.

This can definitely be done in many ways.

  1. Hire pros to play test the game before every release.
  2. Use AI to create smart bots and test the game thoroughly. If Blizzard can’t do it, I think Microsoft can.
  3. Completely change the way they sell products. Complaints are mostly because players stick to one class, and they don’t have the full expansion. If expansions are sold whole (like mini-sets), at least paying customers don’t have to complain about broken stuff, since they can just switch to it. Or use a subscription mode, where subscribers rent the full expansion.
