Please let us link to our teammates in Battlegrounds duos

It would be great for community building if we could get a link to contact our teammates in BG Duos. If not during the initial game, then at least a “last” or “recent” teammate link similar to the “recent opponent” link in Standard. We might like to team up with them regularly. We might prefer to block them because they were just trolling or fussing over things we couldn’t control. If they deny a friend request, they never have to talk to us if they don’t wish to. It isn’t meant to be intrusive. I think the option would make the mode so much more friendly though.

(I hope this belongs here. It’s feedback, but it didn’t seem like “website” feedback…)

yeah agree, sometimes you just like how was your dyo play and wound be nice to adfd person as a friend. Or may be we wanna report nthem but we cant now.

They don’t already do that? I wouldn’t know because I never like to play team games with randoms.

It’s almost like a bug that will be corrected since they show the last opponents anyway.

Until such a feature is given to us, there is something you can currently do to try to get the same effects, sort of.

In the start of a match in duos, your team mate is actually listed in the “recent” section as “current team mate” or “your team mate” or something like that, they are the only one not listed as “recent opponent” or “current opponent” or whatever the correct terms are that they use. What you can do is 1 of 2 things:

  • 1

    • Click on your ally, add to friends list. chances of them seeing this prior to the end of the match or even today, pretty low. But you only have this ability in the hero selection phase up until the timer countdown ends and it progresses to the start of the match. After this point you will not see your team mate listed in that space again.
  • 2

    • Look at the same area in the same window as above, but instead of hoping to add them and they see it ever, especially if you dont know if they will be worth adding or not, what I’ve done is take a screenshot of that list (I make sure i put my cursor on the name that is team mate to make things clear later) After the game is over and I’ve decided that I enjoyed playing with them so its worth adding them, I will go find the screenshot and add them manually as it will have the full username#4numbers to do so.

I like option 2 as it gives me the freedom to choose on adding people or not, and am in no hurry or have any anxiety in any current match like the first option yields (because you are hoping they see the friend request in your match so you are endlessly hoping you can speak to them).
