Please enable partner reporting for Duos

Please, for the love of all that is sacred and good . This needs to be a feature.
The trolling is out of control. There is a litany of offences I can list. Most recent being a partner staying on tier 1 the entire game, and a partner only passin me useless minions with no board of their own. Cmon blizzard!

I am not going to report anyone for that stupid reason… seems to me that those who want this option are the real toxic ones…

There’s no way you’d get to the highest rank floor if you regularly played like that . Duos is full of trolls and they need to be reported .

When i play BGs i always tryhard a build or force a comp, sometimes i fail, sometimes it work. that is being a troll?

Also what is exactly “highest rank” 6k? 8k? 11k?

Nope, that’s not being a troll. The things I described are troll type behaviours.
Anything over 6 k is the highest rank floor. You’d never get to 4 k by just staying on tier 1 all game every game, or selling your boards off on 8 gold .

I disagree. It’s a team game, another person can carry you. I am 100% confident that if I made a bot that literally just joined Duos lobbies and did literally nothing every turn, it would make 6000 eventually.

You need to be significantly above the highest rank floor to get past bot style behavior.

Are you sure? I had no idea how that format is played(I avoid team games with randoms) so I played one (1st place btw); it seems you spend ZERO gold i.e. you waste ALL your gold if you stay idle; that means you have HALF the board to fight each turn on top of losing every single advantage from team cards which are the best cards in there.

I mean I’m mainly asking; we died once in there from 0 rating and the teammate knew very well how to use mechs so they weren’t newbies either; I fully expect to easily lose after rating ~4000 (CAVEAT: it might depend on how late in the season you are (if you’re late then even mediocre players go “Legend” (above 6000)).

I know what Im doing and frequently run into the type of trolls that Worriedcheez is talking about. So far Ive climbed to just above 1k rating since the last reset. (6k last season) . And it took a very long time to even climb above the first 500 due to all the trolls and afks and instant quitters and saboteurs.

I play exclusively duos with strangers and the rate at which trolls appear is 1 in every 30 games, even more, I don’t remember the last time it happened to me…

Idk i guess that, if you play terrible, you make people angry…

Why can’t you just concede and find a new partner?

I’m trying to increase my rank and internal mmr, not tank it!

Was this a real question? If people are intentionally throwing duos they should catch a ban.

Taking seriously any team game with randoms is a highway to be trolled constantly. It’s all fun and games when the ranks are easy; when losses start registering it’s over; you will be trolled or want to be behave that way yourself sooner or later.

Play team games with friends only if you take ranking seriously; not necessarily offline friends: online friends at least; and I’m not talking Hearthstone only (it’s a global gaming scene thing).

Yes, it genuinely was.

If we are to take the TC’s words at face value:

Then that  is an entirely lost cause in my book. Maybe you can hard carry, but most likely you can’t, and you’ll be spending nontrivial time either way just to wind up frustrated either way.

Surely the more elegant solution would be to report them, both in-game and via emailing blizzard directly, and then concede to save yourself some time.
