Playing vs legend players at d3

So i was playing my one account casually towards legend this afternoon. When i reached legend i switched to my other account. There i played someone at 1500ish legend rank but i remembered that name from playing him with my other account. For sure at d3 i couldnt see his rank only when i switched to my legend account.

So is this a common thing that you play at d3 legend players at relativly high rank? No other players on a sunday afternoon in my range, or is there allready somekind of decline in the playerbase that the matchmaking matches me with high legend players ?

Ps: the last 6 matches to legend were mirrormatches i had rarely before. As a big priest quiete awefull.

System matches you based on MMR, not rank

My mmr must be horrible big priest is like you win hard or loose even harder

I thought there must be enough people from d5-d1 who try to get to legend to be matched against. Instead it looked like i faced more then one time legend players at higher ranks.

Towards the end of the month it is pretty common for the end of the legend bracket to be playing D10-D1 players.

Depends on your perspective, either the D10-D1 players are good enough to be in legend, or you are in dumpster legend which is essentially still in the diamond bracket. I prefer the former over the latter.

You are right didnt expect to reach legend on big priest anyway on this new account, so yeah its a dumpster legend rank prolly.

Oh, are you talking about Wild? Yah the population in Wild is a lot smaller than Standard, so that’s another reason why you’d be matching against Diamond Players in Legend.

You don’t know if they are currently Legend players.

I’ve won the Legend card back, though I usually don’t make Legend in a season.

BTW, I am currently at Diamond 3. I’m hoping Pure Paladin will take me to Legend this time.

I played the same player at d3 with my priest and when i eventually switched accounts i played him at 1500sh again with my shaman in legend where i saw his rank.

Yea I’m in d1-d2 and playing against guys rocking t1 decks going for the participation trophy in garbage legend. Even in d4-d3 you’ll play against them If they lose a bunch of games in a row.
