Playing untill the games makes you lose

Does anyone else does this?, playing until you get an unusable hand or your opponent highrolls you, taking a breather and then playing again

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean quit playing the game entirely after one loss?

If yes that’s probably the best way to rank time-efficiently.

Yeah i go and do something else, playing on tilt just makes thing worst

Yeah that’s perfect, especially when not on a rank floor. I’d rather do achievements or play BGs and get XP instead of yo-yoing on a 50-50 win rate out of tilting.

So don’t tilt. Ride out the bad streak with dignity and give your best shot every game. Every game you steal in such a situation is a bonus MMR which counts in the long run + you get to become immune to losses that way.

We’re already running from our problems IRL, let’s not run from them in a game, as well.

Yes, though I would sidenote: gaming is also real life. Don’t give away gaming to the ultra-conservatives.

i mean “the game makes you lose” is a pretty silly thing to say in a CARD GAME. like even magic, yugioh, etc etc will have times where you just draw badly and are at a big disadvantage, its kinda, like an inherent thing to card games??

granted hearthstone is a lot more rock paper scissors-y but like its not MAKING you lose like its some purposeful feature lol

But it is, isn’t it?

It’s literally the purpose of MMR system xD To find you an equal opponent and thus keep your winrate around 50% xD

i’ll admit the game is more matchup based than other card games but idk about you but I’ve never felt like the game forced a 50% wr, most decks i play hover around 55-60

If you kept that winrate all the time, you’d hit rank 1 in no time

If your winrate is hovering around 55-60, that means you’re not playing enough for your MMR to converge (in other words, your skills > your rank)
