Player turn end timer not working

After I played cards my turn, the opponent refused to play but the timer is never end. I waited for over 15 minutes but the timer of opponent never ends. Please fix this.

Edit: It seems there was other issues. Even after I clicked on concede nothing happened. Is this my device issue??

You disconnected from the blizzard server. It’s been happening more and more lately. The only thing you can do is restart when you suspect it’s happening

It happened again. It was quite a long game. Last time was the same. Please fix.

Mate, you’re not alone. This bug is driving me absolutely mad as well. I’ve been playing since 2015, and it’s honestly embarrassing that we’re still dealing with something this ridiculous in 2024. You finish your turn, and then you’re stuck watching your opponent’s ‘infinite thinking session’ with no timer, no rope, and no way out. I mean, seriously—what kind of online game can’t handle basic turn mechanics after nearly a decade?

The worst part? Even when you try to concede, NOTHING happens. You’re just locked into the endless void, wasting your time. Is this some kind of cruel joke? Blizzard, this is beyond unacceptable. Fix your game already.

Device issue?—no, mate, it’s not just your device. This is 100% on Blizzard. If their servers or coding can’t handle matches properly, they need to sort it out. We’re all paying customers, and this level of neglect is outrageous.

This bug has been around for a very long time, in various forms.

I think it must be caused by some fundamental incompatibility between the Hearthstone networking code and the Unity game engine.

If it were any other sort of normal software bug, surely it would have been fixed ages ago.

Exactly! This bug has been haunting the game for years, and it’s honestly baffling that it hasn’t been resolved yet. If it’s really some deep-rooted issue between Hearthstone’s networking and Unity, then Blizzard needs to invest in fixing their foundation. It’s not like they’re strapped for cash—just look at the absurd prices they charge for in-game purchases!

We’re not talking about some obscure, niche bug here; this is a core gameplay issue that completely ruins matches. For a company of Blizzard’s size and resources, there’s no excuse.
