Play in the morning to climb ladder

My theory is that there’s way less of a hodgepodge of random BS and bad luck.

We all know that the worst players get the best RNG and the best players get the worst RNG.

Trust me, it will make your monthly legend climb way more tolerable and you won’t get as tilted.

I don’t see how that could be a universal truism: after all, there are only 3 servers worldwise, so there are bound to be at least a decent number of players on your server for whom, when it is early morning for you, it is mid-morning or later.

I can more readily believe that it might be true in your specific case.

Not sure I agree with OP but I do find climbing ladder to be harder on the weekend. Usually I find the meta more diverse on weekend and thus hard to target specific match-ups for climbing.

If not climbing, I would usually prefer weekend games more.

Having played this game from both a night and day shift perspective at a 24-7 facility, I can say that there are definitely differences in the type/quality of players I encounter depending on the time of day/day of week.

Play meta to climb ladder.
Play expected decklists and spikes to climb ladder.
I know, it’s super embarrassing, I wouldn’t play that that’s for sure.

Playing meta sucks, totally.
So winning w meta at 5 am or so don’t make it cool.
It’s always going to be meta, someone elses idea, and not that opponent’s idea.
That’s a shame.

No one said anything about ‘universal truism’…I did say ‘My theory’ and with a bit of sarcasm at that.

I’m sorry if you missed the point of the OP lol.

There’s something in this.

I played in the afternoon one time and won a great deal. Come night time, I find it harder to win.

Why not make your own thread instead of spamming someone else’s with a literally unrelated comment designed to derail any relevant discussion?

After 3-4pm (CST) I’ve noticed deck quality and overall piloting increase quite a bit, dropping back off around 11pm or so, then picking back up between 2am (server reset for me) and dropping back off again around 5:30am.

I’ll second that (for EU region).
Morning to early afternoon games seem a bit more easy on me, with shorter games and more aggro/midrange and early combo decks. During evening times and the weekend (esp. Sunday), hard control / fatigue or pesky (sorry, Anduin) Priests healing me to dead are more prevalent.
OTOH, someone who really loves those drawn-out games might feel the other way.

No worries. Sarcasm is notoriously hard to properly get across in posts.
Also, I’m oblivious. Cheers! XD
