Play 10 Odd-Cost Card daily doesn't count BGs

As in subject. I played 2 games of BGs and still had credit for 0 odd-cost cards played.

I don’t think BG cards have a “cost” in the same way as the regular game.

Yes there’s a gold cost to buy them, which is usually three gold and therefore is odd, but once they enter your hand they don’t really have a “cost”.

Battlegrounds used to include minions which would reference traditional Hearthstone cost, but they ended up confusing people because the “cost” was always in reference to mana, which doesn’t exist in battlegrounds.

See, for example, Piloted Shredder, who summoned “a random 2-cost minion”, which could include Khadgar (a tavern tier 3 minion) or Micro Machine (a tavern tier 1 minion)

BG cards have a cost. The quest doesn’t specify mana. BG cards can cost gold or they can cost HP. It’s still a cost.

Until spells were added to the pool, all battlegrounds cards cost the same and all would be considered odd-cost at 3 gold. I’m not sure what this OP was about any more but I assume this topic isn’t really relevant any longer

Battleground cards have a cost to buy, not to play.
I think that’s what the quest implies. You have to play cards that have an odd-cost to play.

That’s an insightful way to look at it, though the quest doesn’t have that wording. At least it’s an explanation.
