Plagues not reshuffled when played from hand

Not sure if this is a bug or intended, the card text of Helya is not exactly explicit on this.

In my turn 8, I played Helya, to make plagues unending. The rest of the games, Plagues drawn were reshuffled, as expected.

Then at the end, (opponent turn 12), my opponent played Sir Finley and got two Plagues in hand (this part is as intended; I know that Sir Finley doesn’t draw but puts cards in hand). Since they lost anyway, they decided to play those Plagues before conceding. And then I noticed that there was no shuffle animation. The replay confirms this, just look at the number of cards in the deck: it does not go up after the Plagues were played.

Again, this might be intended. But Helya says “unending”, and it seems that this is actually a way to make a Plague end.

(While this does not matter when an opponent just plays their cards before conceding, it DOES make a difference when an opponent has a full hand and hence is forced to play Plagues from hand to make space for their “real” cards)

Helya’s card text reads:
Battlecry: Shuffle all three Plagues into your opponent’s deck. Plagues they DRAW this game are unending.

A Plague is only unending if this requirement (Plague was drawn) has been met. Your opponent circumvented it with Sir Finley, Sea Guide. Therefore Plagues weren’t shuffled back into his deck upon him playing them.

Oh wow !! Make plagues completely useless. Well there goes the plague archetype well done blizzard. Sir Finn should be a draw effect, you are DRAWING CARDS from the deck, Evident that blizzard doesn’t like new deck archetypes. Nor do they understand their own cards. PLagues is suppose to punishing people from drawing cards and even at 10 cards they should NOT be burnt as you have DREW the cards or am I missing some keywords?

Would make lots of things broken, like imagin that tugother with the demon hunter quest line

Sit Finlay does draw cards.

Plaques in opponents hand are still useful. They won’t take damage but have less real cards they can play.

incorrect

its places them in your hand

One card, that would maybe result in one or two plagues being in your hand instead of triggered, makes plagues useless. You heard it here folks!

Whoops!
Yes, you are absolutely right. My bad for not reading Helya’s cardtext properly.

Thanks!

Irrelevant for this forum. Please discuss your balance concerns elsewhere.

Finley has always been a put in had effect, not a draw effect. And burning cards has not been considered drawing since the release of the game. These effects are consistent and correct.

The only bug in this topic was my disability to read properly.
