As title says, used steam guardian, pulled a plague. And before everyone chimes in with ‘but those are spells though’, they aren’t. I’ve seen plenty of mages volume up with 15+ plagues in their deck and never pull one.
If they aren’t spells, then what are they?
They’re not minions, weapons, locations, or hero cards. What else would they be?
I can’t explain your observations with Volume Up.
They are simply ‘cards’. Spells have the “Spell” graphic at the bottom, minions have minion. If they WERE considered spells, then cards like grand magister would cast every single one you’ve pulled the entire game, which would be incredibly stupid.
your lies will not help you. plague is a spell.
They are spells. Grand Magister doesn’t recast spells unless you play them from hand. Auto-cast on draw spells are never replayed in that type of mechanic, they have to be cast from hand.
What are you talking about?
Looking at Coordinated Strike, which is certainly a spell, I don’t see any “spell graphic” at the bottom:
If a spell belongs to a school (frost/fire/nature/etc) it will have that word at the bottom. But that’s still not a “graphic”.
I really don’t know what you are trying to say.
They are spells.
And to counter your anecdotal evidence, I offer my own: I’ve seen plenty of players draw them w the exact method you just described as never having seen them draw.
They are spells.
