The way to counter Plague DK is to reduce their hero to 0 Health in a timely manner. Multiple decks can reliably achieve this.

This is news to me as a plague DK aficionado. Every solitaire OTK deck out there has a very good chance to win against plague DK. If a warrior drops Odyn before I can dirty rat him, it’s probably game over for me

Not sure who I’m supposed to be doing well against other than all the decks that aren’t doing well against anyone

That’s a very good matchup for Plague DK because it puts Warrior in one of two situations:

  • Draw a lot of cards, triggering Plagues, or
  • mulligan for Odyn, keep it and have a less consistent early game and be vulnerable to Dirty Rat.

As Odyn Warrior I’ve lost count of the number of times Odyn wasn’t in my starting hand and I just killed myself by digging for Odyn and eating Plagues instead.

It’s a decent matchup unless you get Odyn. But to demonstrate what an I win button that card is, if I dirty rat it, my opponent almost always rage quits. Problem is, that just doesn’t happen that often. Two chances in the whole deck and there’s no guarantee they’re going to pull him

There are so many counters to plague dk it isn’t even funny.

  1. RNG plagues
  2. Wheel of Death completely deletes all plagues in the deck even if Helya was played
  3. Easy to rush down
  4. Battle cry shaman
  5. Nature shaman
  6. Need I keep on going…?

I’ve only ever had an easy time verse warrior or druid.

This mu is actually not bad for plague dk. You just hard mulligan for helya save helya and plague generators for AFTER the lock plays wheel. Every turn warlock cycles 5 plagues and takes 10 + fatigue. They can stem it a little bit with harps and the zillax that shuffles into deck but still. Also save your titan for the 15/15 life steal if you can.

It’s % vs warlock is probably a lot worse because people don’t know how to play the match up.

Because you don’t need a counter to beat that deck. Even Highland Decks beat plague. Plagues power was in a meta where there wasn’t much board being played. This meta is not that meta.

You play an aggro deck or semi aggro.

This is news to me. Its not even on my radar as a issue. Must be a silver rank issue.
