I bought some golden Packs from the expansions Alterac Valley, Stormwind and Barrens. Although I already had some packs from the preorder bundles and no legendaries, it took 10 Packs to get a golden legendary at least in two cases.
I wrote a ticket but the gamemaster told me to post this here (I play on EU server).
Anyone else having this issue?

itās not clear to me what you asking , but i suspect you didnāt get the guaranteed on first 10 packs, so have you considered the pity timer is different between normal and gold packs ?

Exactly. Maybe it is different, but their official statement sounded like it was the same now. Either way an official answer would be good, even if it was just what you said.
Why not. Its just the way I am used to write messages and this is not a normal post, but as I explained like an E-Mail to the support, because the ārealā support told me to write it here.
The last official statement I recall reading is that, because golden packs are very rare, they didnāt implement a pity timer for those packs.
But that was many years ago, in a period when golden packs were only rarely given as special rewards. There are now many more ways to get golden packs, so I do not know whether they have backtracked on that original statement.

and reading some community sites seems the āgold/signature oddsā came out last year oct-nov 2022
Now to me seems clear the pity timers are different , i dont get how you think are not.
Imagine they are the same normal/golden like you said , you can use normal packs to go near the guarantee slot and so open golden packs, the system will be abusable ā¦ like you open 8 normal pack without a epic , you can use 2 gold packs and be sure to have a golden epic.
The ālegendary within the first 10 packsā rule applies to golden packs as well.
Mate Iām not speaking of normal/golden Packs. Iām sorry if my english isnāt that good. I only talk about golden Packs.
I had 5 golden Packs from the preorder bundle (lets say stormwind). Then they brought them to the shop for gold. I bought 10 packs (one by one) to get the first legendary but I think I should have gotten the legendary after 5 packs (10 in total).
I guess the āoldā golden packs didnāt count towards the pity timer and the statement that said
came later. So I guess it is ok, I just wanted to askā¦
Just came here to say that you are a very sad character for letting the time run out after each turn only to annoy your opponent. Apparently, you even value your own time very little. I suggest a break from gaming to realign yourself.
