Pirate Warrior Vs Face Hunter

Which is the king of aggro?

I feel like FH is way superior. First for a much cheaper deck, it’s much faster and consistent. It ignores board or taunts thanks to hero power, sidequest and spells. Every card it plays has an impact on the game.

Pirate Warrior on the other hand relies so much on RNG. Drawing a weapon in the first three turns is a must. Synergy between your cards is so important. A lot of cards like upgrade do nothing on their own and are a dead draw if you don’t have a weapon. So is the unit that re-equips weapon.

But that’s just my opinion. Maybe i just don’t get how the deck works.

Wild Pirate Warrior is still King of Aggro.

They both have their pro’s and cons.

Warrior is more board centric, building a dangerous board with a twist of synergy and decent ‘refuel’.

Face hunter has limited rescources but a lot of short term damage.

They have different favorable matchups.

After playing Warrior a lot, it’s very weapon dependent. Lots of cards synergize with a weapon, even the upgrade on it’s own is good enough most of the time. But if you can’t draw a weapon the deck can’t do much.

Option #3: Galak Zoolock =)

In honesty if it is “all aggro against themselves” then I feel Face Hunter is the best as they can usually out race other aggro decks in the damage sprint. With that said I personally think Zoolock is the best aggro deck right now as it can never (essentially) be taken completely off board.

The first player to play a taunt somehow wins when the other player then ropes everyturn because he cant figure out why he cant go face.

ME WANT SMORC! Y NO CAN SMORC? ARRRRRGGG

Pirate Warrior has a better top end via Ancharr and Lance, but it’s less consistent and sometimes not seeing Ancharr is simply a death sentence

Exactly, when I get Ancharrr in my starting hand it’s pretty much a win. If I’m turn 3-4 and no weapons at all, it’s a loss 90% of the time.

There’s a reason 2 Mana FWA was nick-named Fiery Win Axe. Ancharr is even more powerfull - and you can “ress” it with Hoard Pillager.

BTW, if you mulligan hard for it, the chance of having Ancharr in hand turn 3 while going first (3 cards in hand) is about 29%, and ca. 50% turn 10.
