Come on people, let’s make Blizz understand that we don’t want Priest anymore in the game.
No fun, brainless, no interaction, too long games, too rng.
Delete priest is the way.

Just no. That would just cause pointless loop. What next? Remove shaman? Remove rogue? We can ask for better design but priest alone is not to blame here.
Removal of priest would be enough.
Hell you can release some additional new overpowered class like DH instead and it would make the HS more enjoyable.
I would definitely sign this well justified petition.
Finally some quality thread
Priest is RNG but mage isn’t?
Ok
They will remove Priest when they make Monk and its a better Priest just like they did with DH when they made a better Rogue.
Or they could just alter priest so it’s not a class designed around almost no interaction and “forever” games.
Priest wasn’t always this awful to play against.
Why don´t you remove yourself from the game instead?
Posts like this motivate me even more to play Priest. Love dragging players into the late game instead of the six turn blowouts they’re used to. Taking DHs to fatigue = bliss. A couple of them even play on because they think one damage a turn might get them there lol.
After all these years people still taking this cheap bait?
I have no problem with that, provided they also delete DH and remove all the ‘i win’ cards.
But Mage wasn’t and in future they can bring it back as it was. Furthermore Mage requires a bit of skill to play, priest is completely brainless instead… you cast minion and spell and they do everything for you. This makes the class super boring atm.
Who’s more brainless? The guy piloting the priest deck or the guy who can’t beat it and comes here to cry?
Res Priest is a temporary design, and it seem like they’re moving away from that kind of design.
Priest used to be the class that required the most thought, and still left a trail of salty opponents behind them, by winning using random cards from the opponent’s deck. Because you needed to know what every card does and how they work together. I’m sure you’ll be salty about that, too.
unless you read this somewhere
we dont know
they just released librams for paladin which to me it means they are willing to start adding archetypes (i may be wrong but think that what cards classified by their names instead of tribes are )
maybe they could add more resurrection cards but limited to which cards it can bring back by their names (or tribes )
Targeted resurrection sounds like a bad idea. You’d be reducing the biggest disadvantage resurrect Priest has right now (Eternal Servitude, anyone?).
You play your stupid priest deck and I’ll keep playing my stupid murloc deck. In fact I suggest everyone plays aggro decks until priests lose all hope.
Eternal Servitude really didn’t do much in Standard, though. That whole era was ruled by Raza Priest, not Big Priest. It needs ways to cheat out big minions.
I don’t think that effects that pull from a specific pool are a bad idea. N’zoth is only as good as the Deathrattles you can run, right? Hadronox in Druid is only as good as the taunts you can run. That sort of thing. The whole reason Priest runs a bunch of slow taunts is because if they don’t hit one or two on a Mass Res, they’re toast. But that also means they can hardly include any other minions, making the deck very slow.
So, if they’re grabbing from a specific pool of dead minions, that limitation is lifted. They can play a more proactive game, they can run more minions. They don’t have to sit back and wait the whole game.
I was thinking more Gallery Priest during Boomsday/Rastakhan, where you had Eternal Servitude/Diamond Spellstone to continuously resurrect the combo enablers. But fair enough. My bigger concern is that, depending on how the pool is defined, it could make polluting the rez pool harder. Same reason why Hex was more of an issue for Hadronox druids, compared to Polymorph.
On the other hand, it could enable resurrect as an extra value tool, rather than as the thing you build the deck around. That’d be a good thing overall.
Well, it’s all value now because the OTKs are HoF.
ive been playing a dragon priest deck
i gave lifesteal to chronobreaker with apothesis and attacked the DH tried to win the game by playing altruis …and he didnt took chronobreaker into account i guess he forgot it was out there
he killed it with altruis triggering it and i got back to 20+ hp
